Passport Question

My family is taking a trip to the Bahamas this fall and we need to get our passports. Any thoughts on the type of passports we should get?
Any advantages/disadvantages to either the book or card?

I believe the card is really only good for North America and the Caribean. If you plan or desire to travel outside that, then get the book. If that's the extent of your travel, then the card is the way to go.

The book is also good for 10 years. I don't know about the card....

Make no mistake about it. Too long to explain the many advantages. Just take my word for it for now. Remember, few people travel around the world as much as I do.
