Attn: Redskins Fans - You make the pick!

Hey Redskins fans, it's your turn to vote!
I'm running an interactive mock draft with the fan forums of all NFL teams. The fans get to vote and make the pick for their respective team.
So far the fans have voted:
Carolina - Fairley
Denver - Dareus
Buffalo - Newton
Cincinnati - Green
Arizona - Bowers
Cleveland - Peterson
San Francisco - Von Miller
Tennessee - Blaine Gabbert
Cowboys - Prince Amukamara
Redskins - ???
You can vote for the player you want the Redskins to select here:
http://www.footballdraftnotebook.com/InteractiveMock
Also, if you write a short 3-sentence description as to why this player should be drafted in this thread, I will pick out the best write-up and post it in the mock draft section along with your name!
*Finally, Bills fans hold the record with 109 votes. Can you Redskins fans beat that?
***Also for mods, I hope you don't see this as spam. I am just trying to get the right fans to vote for their team, so we get the right mock draft. If you have any problems, please let me know.

I voted for Julio... lob passes all day (of course I'm assuming we'll have a NFL type OLine)

So just to be clear this is who we want to draft and NOT who we think will be drafted, right?

Can't believe Julio Jones is leading the list of picks. I wouldn’t have taken the best WR in the draft let alone Jones in the top ten. We just can't afford one fancy magnesium wheel when we have no chassis, no engine, and no driver!
WRs should almost never be taken in the first round and never, ever, never in the top ten! They're just not that valuable.
You put the best player in the league on this team at any offensive position other WR and he would help this team more than the league’s best WR. The one exception is at TE because we have a top 5 player there already.
I picked Aldon Smith, but thought really hard about Robert Quinn. We have to get someone opposite of Osackpo.

Robert Quinn = Albert Haynesworth in terms of Character issues. No thanks.

Maybe people voting are like me, just tired of not being to get a reception touchdown.. looks like we have the "Smurfs" all over again.
Yes yes, I understand your point about what else we need... but I'm just not willing to gamble on Malcolm "Damit I'm hurt again" Kelly

To tell you the truth, I don't like where we are picking. I don't like the QB's, don't like the LB's that will be available, don't like the NT's. WR is the only position out there that we get a very good player at #10, so if you are picking based on best player available, you take Julio Jones. This kid is going to be a stud but I hate taking a WR with this pick, unless we can come back and get Dalton later.
I don't know enough about Quinn but he looks like a stud. Not so sure about Akeem Ayers. Had a poor 40 time not that that means much.

Yea Chief, I agree with you. I don't know much about the other guys in general but I make way for FrankCal on those things. The brutha knows his college guys for sure.

Eh - can't say I know that much but I do follow the ACC quite a bit. If I were the GM, I would trade out of the #10. I would put calls out on draft day to see what others are willing to offer. I'm sure trading down will generate another one or two picks this year. If it means we even drop back to the end of round one and pick up a 3rd, I think this year, we can find the same value while getting a player later in the draft who can start now. But that's just my opinion.

I certainly understand the the Julio Jones voters. A big receiver with speed. He is just want the GM ordered, but I am squeemish about taking a receiver this high. Let's look at Dez Bryant for Dallas last year. Definitely a stud receiver, but why didn't he get on the field earlier - not knowing the offense. That is what usually happens with receivers. I want a safe pick who will make an IMPACT now. I piked defense, but not just defense - a defender with a great attitude - The "Other Cam," Cam Jordan.
Listen to this guy speak:
http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-combine/0 ... is-is-mine
"This is mine!" Having 53 NFL guys with this kind of attitude, you turn this team around in a hurry. Orakpo, Fletcher! We need more guys with fiery attitudes like these guys. Jordan fits the bill. Kedric Golston, you're a great guy but to the bench where you belong, Cam is coming to town!

I voted cam jordan

I don't know the extent of Julio Jones foot injury during the combine, but he showed toughness and is a beast.
Let's just do it up and get the guy...

With the tenth pick, the Washington Redskins trade down to the 20th pick and receive a third round pick in compensation.

Why Aldon Smith?

I have to fain a bit of ignorance. I don't follow college football and really haven't started digging into the NFL draft yet, so Cam Jordan may be the better pick.
My favorite choice wasn't on there; trade down!
I will be fine if they pick a QB, pass rushing OLB, OL or DL (in that order); I don't really care who it is.
I will be absolutely livid if they waste that high of a pick on a WR or RB. Knowing MS’s feelings on RBs, I think it is a lock they won't take one that high even though we need one. And yes we desperately need a WR too, even worse than a RB, but no team in as bad a shape as the Skins can afford to be that desperate.
That is marrying a Hooker for a tax break desperate!
I realize that a WR might be the best player available at that spot, but unless there is a Marianas Trench of a drop off from him to the next player on your board you just can’t take eye candy that high. I would rather see them take the best C in the draft than a WR, even though top C aren’t usually picked until the 2nd round.
A good OL or QB would help this offense more than a great WR!

The 10th for the 20th plus the 52nd and 116th (or the 20th, a 2nd and a 4th) would be fair based on the trade value chart. I wouldn't consider the 20th and a 3rd, but I might conside the 20th and just a 2nd.
10th = 1300
20th = 850
52nd = 380
116th = 62
1300 for 1292 we come out on the slightly short side, but I would make that in a heartbeat!
Actually Tampa has the 20th and the 42nd. I would trade the 10th for the 20th and the 42nd in a millisecond!

I am with chief and LPJ. Jones at 10 -and- Dalton later.
Dalton is the gem at a lower pick.
