ICE crackdown....Homeland Security

Remember that website where many would watch "free" tv of games and sporting events...? Well, I saved the link and went to it today and it said:

"The domian has been seized by ICE - Homeland Security Investigation"

OOOPppps...my bad....Yikes man, I was just a viewer not the creator.

OK... so, I get the copyright infringement issue...

what I don't get is, how does that fall under the domain of ICE and Homeland Security?????

There's much more to this, than copyright infringement...

A lot of websites whose only legal violation is copyright have been seized under the auspices of national security. This has been a hot topic among filesharing sites, like The Pirate Bay and similar torrent hubs, music sharing sites, and the like. IP enforcement and Homeland Security are being merged in a strange and disturbing way.
