Are the Redskins getting new helmets this year?

I was looking at the picture of Ramsey and Brunell on the Washington Post website and noticed they were wearing dark colored helmets with yellow facemasks. It looked like they took the throwback helmets we have been wearing the past two years and replaced the grey facemask with the yellow ones from our usual helmets. If they are changing the helmets, will they be changing the jerseys too?

If they are changing the color of the helmets, they better be changing the color of the jerseys. If they didn't match it would look terrible.
I loved the grey facemasks, and I think the yellow looks awful, but that's just me...

They are not changing helmets or jerseys. These are the spring training hats, similar to the Cowboys without the star. They symbolize that you must earn the emblem on the helmet.

No, their helmets aren't changing. they look like this every mini camp. But last year, the helmets changed from regular (I guess) to chrome. It was a pretty cool upgrade. I noticed the chrome from the lights when they played Carolina in the preaseason. They wore them in training camo, too. I saw video of them practicing yesterday and they look normal. It could be the cameras the Post is using.

i noticed the same thing. those are the retro helmets w/ gold cages. there will be no change they're just wearing those hats for practice. notice the practice jerseys as well. that's some sharp looking gear.

Nah Brunell's nose is to big compared to Ramsey's. Brunell looks like he would have ping pong ball size boogers

Wow, that kind of bad humor is normally seen in one of my posts. Glad I'm not the only one.
I'm also glad that I'm not the only one thinking about Brunell's boogers. I do it all the time. So glad I'm not alone.

Speaking of helmets and gear, what are the chances of seeing the white jersey & white pants combos from last year? I thought the Redskins looked awesome in them. The metallic helmets with the sparkling whites made them look like a different team. Their play however, begged to differ.
I'm still waiting for the rumored (by Spurrier) burgundy on burgundy combo. I wonder how THAT would look.
