The Fecals/Viqueens game has been postponed until Tuesday night due to snow. Has football now become baseball? I don't think I've ever seen pushed back start times and postponings ever in the NFL prior to this year. What's going on with this crap? Football is supposed to be played in any weather. They claim it's for fan safety, but when have you ever seen a game postponed due to sub zero temps? I never have and THAT could be a safety concern for fans. I say play the dam game!

I guess the league office doesn't want to hear all of Philly whining about losing to the Vikes in bad weather...

The first one was legit, it's not much you can do when one team can't get to where the other team is, so I get that one The Gints were stuck in KC and couldn't get to Minny, but to move a game because of what MIGHT happen on the roads after the game is a new one even for the NFL. While I understand the Patriots, Jets and G-girls are stuck and can't get home due to the weather, I believe both teams that should have played tonight are in Philly.

There's always a way, it's just about money. When I lived in the DC area and worked in Consulting I spent a lot of time working in NY City. On a big Thursday night snowstorm (we always go home Thursday night) we were taking a car to the airport when they started shutting it down. We paid the driver to take us to DC. He was just a bit happy about that. It's like taking a NY cab to DC only more expensive since they're limos. Consulting has lifestyle downsides, but yes, I did like those consulting budgets. We really wanted to go home Thursday not Friday because Monday we were to be back. And the next Monday and so on...

Last time the got snowed in on the way to Minny, and the airports where closed before they got there. I really doubt anyone thought about calling enough limos to drive a complete football team with staff and whoever else was with them from KC to Minn. In the end the Vikings drove to dDtroit and the gints flew there. This time it was like... Looks like bad weather, better not chance it.

The only thing the NFL has working for it is the fact that Philly fans really didn"t need to be out on the road and law enforcement might not be able to get out there to help those that might cross the path of those fans
