1. why do you suck so much?
2. why did you even suit up today?
3. you're the field general....you've lost battles and wars
4. will you consider playing elsewhere next year? (please)

Three turnovers for McNabb today. Also, it's 10 straight games with an INT for him. Yeah, this guy is SO much better than Jason Campbell.

The entire team stinks. No need to single out McNabb. It was a bad trade for us, but hey we are the Redskins so we should be used to bad trades by now.

Mcnabb could be better for sure.

I would rather keep him here since we gave up draft picks for him and use future efforts to build the lines (O and D lines).

Build the trenches and stop wasting draft picks and FA money on over the hill Busts and glory positions.

I'm starting to wonder about some of our Gibbs players like Moss and Cooley.

I wonder if they are just giving up on the Redskins and are not playing up to there real level of talent because they are tired of losing.

Yes, McNabb couldn't make a stop all day. He really sucks on defense

I agree Kaz - we need to move McNabb over to play on the defense

Jacobs second run for 39 yards was amazing to me - I cannot stand that bum and we made him look like a decent RB today - an injured Portis could have had over 200 yards against our defense today - Jacobs antics in the end zone after he scored his second TD should have earned a flag for unsportsmanlike - I cannot stand a lot of guys on that team but Coughlin, Manning and Jacobs are all bums

c'mon guys - McNabb is our QB and he's certainly not solely to blame here

at least McNabb can play QB - Campbell is still hopeless

I hope you said that with sarcasm. Campbell was not and never will be a great quarterback. If he was here, I doubt that the Redskins would even have 5 wins.

The retort, of course, is that even if McNabb was a great QB (and even that's debatable), he's not anymore and never will be again.

It's not McNabb's fault the Skins got into such a hole, but that first pick and fumble were absolutely killer in terms of making sure they never got within striking distance again.

Uh it's RayNAustin. Dude hates Campbell with a passion.

Really you all...? This thread is about McNugget playing AWEFUL....not helping his team with throwing picks....

In regards to the highlighted portion, I posted during the gameday thread what I thought about it. Rocky should've punched him in the face. His antics were totall classless. Rocky would've been hit for 15 yards and maybe ejected, but so what? It's not like the defense was on fire and he was an impotant cog in its workings. Release some steam and make that tool regret acting like that. Also, it would've shown that somebody on that defense has some fight left in them. I guess pride is optional for the Redskins.

one of the officials was right there at the time and should have made the call - I also wish someone had decked Jacobs - he is a low life

I can uderstand the frustration with Donovan but there's a lot of other players AND coaches not helping here also

Let's remember two rules of Joe Gibbs football:

- the OL must overpower the opposing defense

- the DL must overpower the opposing offense.

1. Today, the defense couldn't stop the run.

2. The offense couldn't run. The Redskin OL was miserable.

In a year or two, the Redskins will crush teams, but until they have an OL and DL, they could have Sonny in his prime and still lose to good teams.

He is overrated. Some say hall of famer but I always thought he was someone to make mistakes and we could always have a shot when he was and Eagle. Now that we have him I say he can do some things... He can also look like the player I thought he was. He does have a pretty long ball and recently he has thrown some short and medium passes that aren't so bad but mostly today he was throwing one handed grabs that would take a bunch of pro bowl caliber receivers to catch and he does it to tight ends. When I see our receivers jump and still can barely get one hand on it I have to say it is his fault. OK, so we suck. Our D isn't helping much either. At least in the past we had D to lean on.

Keep McNAbb. Fire Haslett! And draft nothing but OL

I hate Haslett, but today was more on the players than the system. Haslett didn't miss any tackles and he certainly didn't throw any picks or fumble any balls, but he has to go because he sucks! And always has.

I don't understand who helps tell Shanny when to challenge a ply, but that dude needs to be fired. The AAA fumble was was so obviously a fumble and so was McNabbs. However, the K WIlliams one could have been called an incomplete pass. He bobbled the ball amost the hole time, but by that time it made no never mind.

And while we're on challenges, why didn't they challenge the Gearheart run last week when he was stopped short of the goal line. Of course he had just made a first down and was only a foot short and our D SUCKS!

I know, it is a shame. But Shanahan isn't too much of a downgrade. And at any rate they both subscribe to similar philosophies.

Yes, I'm very optimistic. There are a lot of good things going on with the team. As I pointed out in another thread, it's a shame that the quality early season victories are being used now against Shannahan rather then for him. Norv was too nice, Marty was too big an arse, Spurrier was had of the not ready for prime time coaches and Zorn wasn't ready for the big chair yet. Other then Gibs who was a no brainer, Danny finally got this one right.

The problem is that Shanahan doesn't have Bobby Beathard to provide him the players that he needs to get the job done. As a coach Shanahan is very good in my opinion, but the problem with the team is that we have no legitimate player personnel guy. Shanahan got fired in Denver because of his failures in the player personnel area and Bruce Allen isn't a very good personnel guy. Tampa Bay undid a lot of what he did as GM of the Bucs and now they have a young team that is showing lots of promise.

Shanahan might be able to instill some discipline on the team, but until we get a good GM to handle the player personnel side, we are going to continue to be a mediocre team. Talent wins and right now we don't have very much of that.

If you're saying Bruce hasn't shown he is the guy yet I'd agree with you, but if you're saying you've determined he's not, it seems a bit premature to say that.
