We have the Better Landry.....

Laron > Dawan
LL is younger but bigger and stronger....
LL is fierce, plays hard, out to punish
Did you see Dawan try to tackle Snelling, and he did a poor job = TD by Snelling. If it had been Laron, he woulda laid the smack-down on him.
I know...I know...LL got trucked by Jacobs, but we DO have the better Landry brother.

Dude, that tackle was just horrible... LL would've broke Snelling in half on that one

Funny as hell because my daughter just learned some weeks ago greater than and less than. So a way I taught her how to remember it was the open part of it is like a hand clapping for the bigger number and points/makes fun of the smaller one.

So your analogy is flippin perfect!

LOLOL.. naw man, my old math teacher who was pretty hot when I was very young told me that and because she told me that and she was pretty hot, I think I always remembered it! Funny how I can pass it on to the kids!
Oh by the way, look out for Moore to have equal numbers as LL vs the smeagels on Monday.. its a hunch

Laron is definitely better. Every time I have seen Dawan he hasn't been that good. Stupid Ravens fans would probably beg to differ...

I would hope Laron is better, he was a top ten pick and i'm not even sure his brother was drafted. It would suck for us if he wasn't better

Not some that I've talked to. They insist that Dawan is better and Laron is overrated. Those are the ones that only watch ravens games and know absolutely nothing about football outside of Baltimore.

They can go jump in the harbor because that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Yeah, well I live in an area full of Ravens fans that just say they are Ravens fans to fit in and they know nothing. All they say is "Redskins Suck" and "Steelers Suck". I don't even waste my time arguing with them anymore. They don't know enough to have an intelligent conversation with. I wish they would all jump in the harbor....sorry you might be able to tell I have had more than a few bad experiences with Ravens fans. I have no respect for the majority of them.

Having been born in D.C., spent my entire pre-adult life in Columbia and my high school years in Baltimore itself (at the very same time the Cleveland Browns first came to town), I can honeslty say, if they're from Baltimore, they don't have enough intelligence to have an intelligent conversation about anything with (except crab cakes, on that they are quite well versed).
Yeah, Hun! Goo Os!!

^^^ Shabutie is clearly not aware of how things work at THN. Intelligent, thinking and respectful fans of other teams... even of the Eagles... are welcome here. There's trash talking, and then, there's trash.
I see no indication that, other than a name selected in a fit of poor taste, PiggieKiller is anything but intelligent, thinking and respectful... albeit not particularly particular about the team he follows. He, quite correctly, mocks our big hitter for talking smack... with no backup. Why would we see a problem with that???
Unlike certain other highly intolerant fan sites, THN understands that legitimate debate requires more than one side. Mods focus, not on banning, but in encouraging civility... as much as possible. In my opinion, it's what makes this a great site. We want those fans here... General Failure, where are you?
Don't believe me? Ask any of the long timers how many bannings they can remember. It is exceptionally rare. Free speech... if civil... is always respected here. It's as simple as address the post, not the poster. You want to fight? Go to smack.
Nah... as long as Piggie Killer follows the same posting rules as everyone else does, he's all set. Welcome...
though, I'll freely admit, it would have been nice to see him here BEFORE the humiliation....

That is good to hear. I am a message of a few different boards and they do not operate the same way. Pretty refreshing to hear.

The pregame video says otherwise... of course, it could have been just an interesting way of saying "luv ya, man!"

and it happens all the time - some players do it more than others
the trash talking did not have any effect on how the players played - we lost because we played terribly not because of any trash taking BS
trash talking is a part of the game and happens before the game, during the game and after the game and it will continue

Not sure how much I buy into this, but Laron Landry was accused of spitting in the face of Eagles center, twice.

I'll respect him based on the rules on the board, but I have no respect for a person who joins a board just to gloat. If he woulda been here the first game and starts gloating now, it would be different, but he's nothing but a sore winner who probably teared up when we broke Vick in the first game. And to be honest, I'd rather have McNabb win in his homecoming in their house and lose at home this year, just to stick it to those ungrateful fans in Filthadelphia.

I haven't seen any gloating, other than in this thread, and that was clearly aimed at LL, whom, in my opinion, DESERVES it. Frankly, I have no problem with hit post in this thread. If, like Laron, you are going to talk trash, you'd better be prepared to back it up. When you are left face down in the grass on the first play because the "smackee" handed you your own butt... well, the worm just turns, don't it?
As I noted in my post, his presence would be easier to take had he shown up BEFORE the game... but it is what it is, and I haven't seen him do anything disrespectful, nor has he rubbed it in. I've seen cogent comments on the state of the Redskins defense... and even some comiserating about the hapless 'pukes.
Sometimes the price of being a fan is that you get embarrassed. Stuff happens, whether a good team or a bad team. Have we had more than our share lately? Sure... but the point stands.

Had no bearing on the outcome? Perhaps... unless you happen to be a pretty good WR who now has a little extra motivation. Is there a possibility that the first play was INTENDED to shove it down LL's throat?
Naaaaaaaaah.
If you are going to talk trash, you'd better be prepared to back it up.
In this, we witnessed an epic FAIL.

I don't think we can single out 1 person where we lost the game. And I agree that LL didn't walk the walk, as I've said about Hall the past two years.
My point is that if he were a member here prior to the embarrassment we called a rival game, then I would hav a different opinion, but he wasn't. Another irrelevant person that came here simply to gloat. This is all the time I'll give this subject and this 'person' until he has something intelligent say.
