So not only did he predict we would lose, and say we have no running game, but he is also commentating the game.

..and what, he was telling the truth.. we really don't have a good running game. as for his prediction, you honestly think NFL fans outside of Skins' fans have us beating the colts? I predicted 13-3 in preseason with the colts being one of our losses...don't get me wrong, I'd gladly eat crow but I'm just saying

I don't get it, Collinsworth hasn't said anything boneheaded regarding football IMO. His facts are pretty much on point but I can understand if people disagree with his personal opinions. I thought Troy (besides the last few weeks b/c the pukes are suckin) was one of the better commentators. Collinsworth is a bonehead and I can't stand him calling our games.

Collinsworth has that smug, condescending tone every time he opens his mouth. It's almost like he feels he's too cool to be mentioning what he is talking about. Kinda like some of you on this site! lol j/k

Am I the only person who heard Aikman observe that Albert Haynesworth had not made an impact during the game against the Eagles? Really??? How about the Packers game last week where apparantly Trent Williams was rolling around the ground in pain, but nobody watching on tv knew because Aikman didn't mention it?

I'm not a huge Collinsworth fan either, but Aikman is just vapid.

On the bright side, if you're getting Aikman or Collinsworth calling your games instead of Brian Baldinger, its probably a sign that your team doesn't completely suck.

The thing is Aikman at least has room to talk. Collinsworth was worthless wasn't he? For as much crap as he talks... in that tone of his.

I NEVER listen when Collingsworth is one of the commentators, I turn off the sound and listen to the radio. Problem solved.

Collinsworth is the MOST ANTI-SKINS commentator in all of sports. I just really dislike that guy. First off, he has a smug face when he talks and IMHO he actually thinks he was some sort of NFL all-time great. At least Troy can actually say he is an all-time great. You would think by the way Collinsworth talks and gives his opinion that he was the one who invented the game of football. He is wrong all the time, yet is unwilling to admit when he is wrong -- and when he is called out on it he whines and crys, giving excuses like a child.

Collinsworth also doesn't know the game like Troy does. Troy, as a QB, has a good understanding of how the game is played and maintains some sort of objectivity as a commentator. I remember when he started -- I immediately didn't want to like him due to his Cowboy pedigre, but he has proven to be objective and knowledgable.

With that said, I don't have any problem with the fact that Collinsworth said we would lose AND that we have no running game. After all, Vegas has INDY as favored to win by 3 AND we don't have a running game. So in the first part, he is merely agreeing with public opinion and in the second statement, he is just stating a fact. But irrespective of that fact, Collinsworth still blatently doesn't like the skins. It is almost as if he enjoys seeing the skins lose.

Aikman would have all the reason in the world to be a little cocky in the booth, but he's not at all, so I appreciate that. He's also no homer when it comes to the Cowboys, and I appreciate that as well.

Collinsworth can definitely come off as a snob. That turns a lot of people off, including me, but I have to admit he's right a lot.

They all suck farts. Thiesman included. - at commenting of course. Even Joe picked the fudge packers to whoop us. I'm glad everyone thinks the colts mediocre defence is gonna stop us more then their blatantly obvious pass attack. Houston stomped em while giving up yards jus like our D has done bend but not break. W our aggressiveness on D comfort forming on O I like our chances. Crazy train captain chaos jitterbanks and what's Moss' nickname? Anyways loosing track but f the colts and the manning sisters we goin 4-2 all day! BOM

Collinsworthless (and Jim Rome for that matter) is like the subject of Offspring's "Pretty Fly (for a white guy)"

He thinks he is this ultra cool guy and he is really just a pencil neck geek that probably got beat up a lot in school as a kid!

CC (& Rome) are simply just annoying as hell! CC doesn't actually say anything wrong and he is pretty well prepared, but he just annoys me to no limit!!! I was so excited when I heard John Madden was retiring because I hated his coverage for years. My excitement crashed and burned when I heard CC was replacing him!

Aikman is just a tool! He is a blind Cowgirls homer (worse than Joey T is for the Skins). Aikman is also as boring as they come. Listening to him is like trying to stay awake after three day of no sleep. I just want to scrat my eyes out, but I'm so tired I can't remember what I want to do and no longer have the cognitive function to accomplish it if I could remember!

On the other hand I do not mind John Gruden at all. I actually like most of what he says and find it informative.

Just to be clear, I don't hate Collinsworth because he's anit-Redskins. I hate him because he's everything I dislike about American color commentators: he talks constantly to fill the space, he's arrogant, he's constantly second-guessing coaches and refs with his expert opinion, he's always relating advice or anecdotes based on when he played (i.e., he doesn't want you to forget that he was an NFL wideout), his voice is irritating to listen to, he uses all the platitudes and cliches, etc. etc. etc. . . . . .
