When George Blanda passed, football lost one of a kind.

Great post! Sadly, this generation of fan doesn't really understand the contributions Blanda provided the league and how impressive his career was. Yesterday was a sad day for the NFL.

Unfortunately it really took him passing away for a guy like me to even know of him. From all the information and footage I've seen, this guy was a total freak! How da heck did he play until he was 48 in "old school" football????? 10 current records too???
R.I.P... another football soldier who gets to play with other greats in heaven's football field
