Baldy is one of the biggest Eagles homer there is. He previously said that McNabb would not find success in DC.
Did anyone see him eat crow on NFLnet? He knows McNabb is for real.
I will post the video link when I find it. It was a playbook break down of the Redskins passing game....pretty Awesome.
Baldy said that Kyle and McNabb showed him a thing or 2 with that offense: bootleg, misdirection, deep passes to open WR, TE, RBs
Despite the loss, pundits agree that the Redskins are much improved.

You know we lost the game right? Were 1-1. It is waaaay too early for anyone to be eating crow or to be looking like a genius on their statements.

Mast you don't think throwing that many yards is a sign of things to come? With a mediocre running game at best I'm completely sold.

Too soon to say. Against Dallas our passing game was atrocious.

I agree LPJ - this offense with hardly any run game yet is still showing an awful lot of promise
Our run game will get better and we are destined for a lot better look soon
we have ONLY made 5 of 23 3rd down attempts and that will have to get a lot better also
I like the QB a lot

we were so bad last year and while I agree that there are some that will never change - a lot of guys will take notice if we keep up this pace in the passing game and IF the running game can help at all - watch out

I'm with you Tribe... during all the pre-season discussion from that sideways pointing neophite, he insisted DM would fail miserably in DC and that Kolb would be the second comming.
Well eat caca Baldy, you and your opinions bite.
HAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Baldinger called McnNabb a "flawed Quarterback" and proclaimed that he would be exposed as a fraud in DC and that Kolb would have a better season.
Not only did Kolb stink it up through preseason and the first half of Game 1, but he also got his a$$ knocked out..welcome to the NFL Kolb...and Baldy, welcome to the Crow Buffett. Take a seat and enjoy.

If the Dmac flaw means the he NEVER can find a running game then yah he is right LoL.
I kinda felt bad for Kolb, I wish he was still starting for them, he's a lot easier to prepare for than Vick.

Every time I see "DM", my mind sees Darnarian McCants... Every time I see Dmac, I see...
It's just weird... that's all... Then I slap myself and realize, it's not a dream... McNabb is the quarterback...

It is too early to call the whole team a turnaround success. But I think the evidence is already pointing strongly toward the fact that McNabb is the real deal now, before he's really had much time to learn this offense. His arm strength is impressive. His pocket skills and awareness is excellent. His vision is excellent. His 3rd and long performance has been awesome. His leadership has been top notch as always. So, I don't think there is much reason to expect a big drop off in the upcoming weeks as he and the WR's learn the offense and gel even more. I say give it two more weeks and then call it a success if all is still well. We were 4-12 and disfunctional last season, so we're not expecting a playoff run in the first year of the new regime.

I kind of agree fleet - HOWEVER the day McNabb became our QB we were looked at differently - mainly because of the intangibles that he offered compared to what we and all the "experts" (who really are NOT) had seen and knew we would get from Campbell
there may have been some that wanted to wait and see but I think that Mike & Kyle knew that we had really upgraded our offense by adding this guy
at this time we really don't need any more time to know he's a great QB AND an offensive leader because he's shown that over the years
we have some offensive issues

(RB, OL & WR) but we now have a VERY good QB and I believe he will be playing and helping this franchise for a number of years
we don't need to wait, that happened the day he came here
we'll get better offensively both short and long term but we now have a leader and a VERY good QB
as far as the franchise is concerned though we are a lot better but we still have a lot of "issues" to address before we can be deemed to be a very good team again IMO
