We have a divisional win as well which is huge. It's going to be very important that we lock up the wins the next two weeks. I thought that Chicago was going to be a cake walk but after them being 2-0 and beating Dallas easily, I don't think it'll be so easy ...... AND I'M GOING TO THAT GAME!!!!

Yea, Chicago is looking good. Cutler over the last 4-5 games has been phenomenal.

Cowboys better win this weekend or we're going to really see the wheels come off that bus!

I'm liking how the NFC East looks this season all of a sudden. Yeah, we have Fat Albert, but I think the other three teams have some serious distractions and issues going on.

Eagles have the Vick/Kolb thing brewing. Giants have Brandon Jacobs turning into a complete circus. And the Cowboys just look like they're ready to press the panic button.

I think Shanahan has been managing this team very well so far, and we could find ourselves in the surprising position of winning the division. No doubt!

I think that the win against the pukes is huge too but all we really know right now is that we are a much improved team than last year - it still seems to me that we have offensive issues - I think the defense gets better as we go along - this will end up being a really good unit I think in the next few games

I think we have a real good chance at starting 5-3 and how great is that?

I'm not sure that Chicago is a good team - they just played a good game and the pukes didn't - better teams don't always win

the Vikes are 0-2 and I'd still say they are one of the top 5 or 6 in the NFC

the Colts lost to the Texans but the Colts are a better team - the game last week was huge for that franchise but IMO the Colts are one of the top 3 in the AFC - don't get me wrong, the Texans are a very, very good team too

the better teams will find a way to win - we're getting close but we're not there yet

How great is the expression on the idiot Coughlin's face as he watches what is happening to his team

I cannot stand that coach or his QB - any NY Giant loss is especially rewarding because this guy just irks the hell out of me :D

The Skins have a chance this year in the NFC East. The next two weeks are critical - wins verse the Rams and Eagles will allow the Skins to lose back to back to the Packers and Colts and still be in it.

In fact, I am really interested to see how they respond next week to the Rams. Cam they focus after blowing yesterdays game and with the Eagles coming up next. It will tell me a lot about this team if they come out and whip the Rams. If it is close, or they lose, the season will be what we probably thought it would be.

I think and hope we end up 5-3 to start and hope we can go 4-4 to finish but more likely 3-5

HEY - 9-7 would be fantastic and 10-6 would be priceless

I'm still thinking 8-8 is pretty good from where we were

I just hope yesterday doesn't come back to haunt us because that was a total meltdown. If we won that then we could have had a free pass against the packers and colts, but now I think we would have to take one of those.

Frank, come join our tailgate if you have nothing else to do. I hope more Skins fans will come cause I think that game is key. One of the two of those teams (Bears/Skins) will go to the playoffs so that game is extremely important.

Do you have tickets yet?

The Texans pointed out to the world the Redskins most glaring weakness. If the Redskins are not last in pass defense, they should be close. I hope Haslett has something in mind to shore up a leaky pass defense.

Don't forget... The Texans beating the Cowgirls next week will help a lot as well :D

Then again we're not going to be playing Schaub and Andre every week. Schaub's passes were phenomenal and in perfect spot for Andre to jump over smaller d-backs. I'd like to know how other teams are going to exploit that exactly...

our pass defense should not be looked at that critically:

1 Schaub probably doesn't have that happen again in his lifetime

2 The 2 receivers had great games

3 our secondary got a big wake-up call - I think it helps us

we are a lot better than what we saw and adjustments will happen - I just don't think that our defense against the pass is going to be as bad as some here are concerned it might be

I'm looking forward to Kareem Moore coming back. I think Moore is a better player than Doughty and will bolster the whole DB corps.

This is EXACTLY why it should be looked at critically... allowing this to happen is EXACTLY the reason things need to be looked at hard.

We still gave up over 100 yards to two other non-top ten WRs. AJ is going to get yards. You just can't give up the amount of yards they did to good, but not great WRs like Austin and Walter. You watch, both of those performances will be their top performances for the year.

Good points. We shall see.
