We all them. That one guy or girl at work when our teams play, if you lose, they become the gnat you just can't get rid of all day.
I thought it would be fun to hear stories of your encounter with that person today - the one who's the COWBOY FAN. Good 'ol America's TEAM - fan.
(it's only 6:30 so I'm not at work yet)

My boss actually tried to tell me that the Eagles NFL Championship in 1960 was just as signifigant as the Skins 3 super bowl wins because it was Lombardi's only playoff loss. I have no Cowboy fans at my office - just Eagles and they are truly bummed out. With Andy Reid blowing all their time-outs early in the 4th quarter they are starting to see it was Reid, not McNabb, that was thier problem.

It sucks. I'm on travel all week to Washington state, where no one gives an S about the Skins or Cowboys.

Ha ha, this is a good thread. My one Cowpuke fan gave me the bird while driving past. lol. Then talking with him in the parking lot all he could do is hold his head low and say the game sucked.
The good news; he said our defense must be pretty good to hold them to 7 points only but agreed both teams need to work on their offense.
I've hated having to come to work hanging my head low and having them rub it in. It's nice to see the tables turned and I don't care what the score was, a win is a win.

My boss is the typical Cowboys fan, never been to Texas and probably couldnt point it out on a map. Side note he is also a Yankees fan, Lakers fan and Penn State fan.
I covered his office door with pictures of Alex Barron putting Orakpo in a sleep hold on the last play of the game. He wasnt very happy with that!

I teased some students as they were coming in to the class saying "the cowboys should have one." I said "well, the didn't and that is the end of the story junior."

Had to go to court this morning before a judge that is an ardent Cowboys fan. Before I even sat down, he told me that if I even smiled, he would find me in contempt and fine me a $100.00. I laughed...cost me $100.000 but oh god was it worth it!!!!

I had a party at my place last night. It was a mess. Things are veeeeery quiet here in Texas right now.... not too much being said about anything. I will be wearing my Orakpo jersey all day because I am both a sore loser and a sore winner.

Sounds like judicial misconduct to me.

All is qiuet in the office today. Not a pie fan to be found. Our BIGGEST puke fan called in "sick" today & he owes me $20 bucks!

I didn't make it in to work until noon today since I didn't get home until 2am from the game. the IT guy, who is one of those "cowboys part the waters" kinda fans was talkin big smack in the office while working on a PC. After I came in, he came back for some follow-up work on the PC and didn't have anything derogatory to say about the skins. As soon as i saw him walk in, I just smiled and waited.

There's a Dallas fan in my office that I was going back and forth with all last week. First thing this morning he came into my office and offered a congratulations, so I didn't feel right giving him too much grief about the game.

I agree with ya Cane. There is another Dallas fan at work I just poked my head in this morning and say "hi." She said "hi," back, looked up, and then said, "oh, hey." I didn't give her a hard time b/c she wasn't stupid about it.

I received this e-mail from a co-worker that sits in the office next to me...
"I'm pretty sure I've seen some version of that game 10 times in the last 15 years between those 2 teams.
I'm always very confident when something goes wrong and the cameras cut to a bewildered Wade Phillips. Its like he's trying to figure out who took his last piece of pie."
I deleted without response

I love that look. Whenever I see it, I make a mocking food-reference.
They were talking about how he lost weight during one of the pre-season games and I pointed right at him and said "there it is; hidden beneath his man-boobs!"

Nope, I deserved it. There was more that went on earlier.

Typical Redskins fan! Class all the way. And no chance of receiving the same kind of consideration if Barron Von Choke was able to cleanly block.

I have a pretty good one, while it isn't at my work, it is still funny. My friend's boss is a huge Cowboys fan and he is always talking smack about the Skins so he made a bet that if the Skins won he would get decked out it Redskins gear and tie Redskins balloons to him and work like that all day. He is a grocery store manager and he actually walked around his store all day with a Redskins jersey on and like 5 balloons tied to him. The picture was classic!
