Dude... That makes be excited but then sad as hell. damn he was a future hall of famer and he was the kind of player even Dallas fans couldnt talk smack on.

Why is Dallas week such an obsession? I like beating Dallas just as much as the next guy, but I hate Philly much more. I've been to a game in Dallas and I've never heard one of their fans yell "We want the Skins". But without fail, at every Skins game (and I'm a season ticket holder), the old "We want Dallas" chant comes out. The "We want Dallas" chant and screaming "O" during the National Anthem are two "events" that I'd really like to see go away.

I totally have no dea what you are talking about. You can't hate anyone more then Dallas especially as a skins fan. Tradition man, to be a skins fan means Dallas is our arch rivals it comes w the territory. BEAT LA comes with being a Celtics fan and despising the lakers is a must. Any given year if we beat Dallas twice the whole season is that much better. Hell last year even wouldn't have been so sour if we made one of the two missed field goals that let the cowpies slip away w a one (bad word) point lead. I habe never had the pleasure of seeing a home game but I'd surely enjoy any chat with my kin. Do you get annoyed when the crowd coooooo's for Cooley?

BEAT DALLAS!

Anyway that is seriously the coolest Sean Taylor pic I've evr seen.. Awesomest autograph by any man I've ever read. I was totally blown away that is one jus amazing piece of redskins histoy. Rest in peace

Yep, traditionally, our biggest defeats and victories have come against the pies. "We want Dallas" was borne out of the George Allen era, we stomped their asses in the NFC Championship game (the real SB). Then we repeated the spectacle 10 years later, telling Randy White before the play that the next one was coming right over him again, and then executing. It symbolizes the frustration over the Thanksgiving day loss, and the unjustified cockiness exhibited by every Cowpie fair-weathered fan. How sweet was the comeback 14-13 victory, in the toilet bowl, on the night the criplets went into the ring of shame? No, there is no more hated opponent, and there shouldn't be.

The Smeagols may have crappy fans, but they are still seeking "the precious," so you can't really hate them.

The G-strings have had some recent success, but they had to be given their first SB victory by a FG miss, and they have never put together any kind of dynasty. And Sam Huff called a timeout so we could tack on a FG in the highest scoring game in NFL history (I still  when I think about that one).

To sum it all up, I can only say, "WE WANT DALLAS!"

Then, no offense, but I really don't think you like beating Dallas as much as the next guy. ;)

Really? Living in Texas hasn't made you a Cowpie hater above all others?
I understand hating Smeagol fans, but the team has never won a championship, so why hate them?

Foks - for almost 10 years I have lived in Philly surronded by their horrible and deluded fans. In all that time I have come to move the Eagles up to second on my hate meter which means - WE WANT DALLAS!!!!

Because they honestly think they are better and smarter than everyone else.

You're talking about the fans, not the team, though, right?

In my head I hate the Eagles more too, but when the Eagles play the pies I root for the Eagles. I hated the Cowboys just as much when I was a Lions fan as a kid before switching to the Skins in 81. The Cowboys are a classless, arrogant bunch of junkies. That they call themselves Americas Team says it all. Though I agree with you I don't want to give them the honor of calling for them at every opportunity by chanting "We Want Dallas" like we do.

I can agree with that. I would prefer that was only kept for the really special match-ups, like the playoffs. "Dallas sucks," is much more preferable for every day use.

Yes, but that's only reason to pity them, not to hate them. ;)

Sure I hate the Eagles, but nothing gets my blood boiling more than that blue star. The self appointed moniker of "America's Team." The retractable roof so as they say "God can watch his favorite team play."

I hate the fact that no matter how lousy they've been, or they are, the sports media world always picks them to win the division.

I hate the fact that you can hardly watch any football show on ESPN or NFLN without someone popping out to "remind" you how "great" the Cowboys are.

I hate their team, I hate their fans, I hate that walking crypt-keeper of an owner, that tub-of-DUH-looks they have for a coach, that guy Homo they have playing QB, I hate the fact that Fox always assigns Troy Aikman and Moose Johnston to cover Redskins games even when they aren't playing the 'Pukes.

I can agree w disliking the smeagles but come on cowboys and Indians is probably the biggest rivalry. Plus as mentioned I hate the team plyers fans owner stadium etc etc. Maybe being a border state and not having a team in NM mkes me less tolerant of the cowpukes and broncos since the fans are overwhelming ignorant tards that flap their lips ike teenage girls but behind doors play soggy biscuit in their circle jerk.

Bob 0119, I agree I hate them for the same reasons you gave. But, I guess the part about them I hate the most is their clueless fans. Most Cowboys fans are "Johnny Come Lately" front runners who couldn't locate Dallas on a map and the closest they've gotten to Arlington, TX is Arlington, VA. And then you have the 14 year old girl contingent.

But seriously, have you been to Philadelphia? It's like dumpier Baltimore (if that's possible) and their fans are ridiculous. The Eagles definitely have my top spot.

I just think it's pathetic. "We want Dallas, we want Dallas". And that was Preseason Week 2.

Dallas is and will always be the team that true redskins fans want to beat most.

Believe me its good to beat the Eagles but dallas is where it is at wahoo.

Agreed; that's a little much.

It was cool when it was RFK, headed into the playoffs, but you're right, it's played out when you are randomly chanting it before the season has even started.

Of course, the alternative chant is considerably more profane.:)

I hate Dallas more than the Eagles and Giants, but I kind of agree with Wahoo at the same time. It seems that this game is a much bigger deal now for Skins fans than it is for Cowboys fans. You don't hear "We want the Skins" at their games. To me it's kind of like the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry, where you'll hear Boston fans at a Celtics game chanting "Yankees suck", but you don't see them same from Yankees fans. The rivalry is much more important to us than it is to them.
