What's gonna happen if Moore is out 6 weeks? Move Landry to Free for a while? Rogers? They CANNOT have Doughty or Horton play Free, it would be a disaster.

They said four to six weeks. The damn season is still three weeks away so it is within reason he would only miss the Dallas game. I don't know about everyone else but this offseason has seemed longer than any I can remember. There will be a preseason game in September. I remember a few years back the first games of the season were in August.

It's already been reported that Horton would play Free.

We are lucky if we get moore back at all. He was walking around on that sideline like he knew he was done for the season. Other players where talking to him like keep your head up youll be back next year. Didn't look good if I know how to read body language.

Hey Encinoman. Not sure if you're a LA area guy or not but welcome. Moore was saying that he was just very upset that he was hurt again and that because of what he felt, the anger of getting hurt and the way the players responded, he said he over reacted. He said he's fine but that he's going to have to stay off it his knee for a while. He had an MRI and word on the street with player's is that he's going to be fine:

He's got plenty of time to heal. And if Horton can do something for a game or two, he'll only be in better shape when he returns.

Player should only lose his starting job if the player who took his place is at an all pro level.

Word on the street is we may be searching the waiver wire for a FS out there. Not sure anyone decent is available but who knows.

Hor-ton is Hor-rendous in coverage. He's like a bad Laron Landry...which is saying something. Horton is best around the line of scrimmage as a Strong Safety. The Cowboys will pick him apart in Week 1.

Hey, let's get Adam Archuleta back. He did earn his pay and he still "owes" us a few......ahhhh ok, maybe NOT.

He now plays for the Las Vegas Locomotives....what is that? Arena Football...?

Doughty would not be horrible. He held his own after Sean was killed. He's no long term starter, but he doesn't totally suck either.

Ed Reed is holding out, LoL, give him Fat Al type money! hehehe

As it was explained, the safeties at this defense play left and right, there are no free or strong, both need to be able to cover and defend the run. I think Horton will be fine, I prefer Doughty in that spot but both can make it work, this is not Blache's unmoving, stale system, this is haslet's let's see how it pans out. =)
