A pitcher for the NY Mets is out for a while cuz he hurt/broke his hand. This he did by punching his girlfriends dad. What the heck....???

Can you say: Knuckle Head...???

HOUSTON — The punch that Francisco Rodriguez threw last Wednesday night hit another target — leaving the Mets without their closer as it was revealed Monday that Rodriguez suffered a season-ending ligament tear in the thumb of his pitching hand.

But this one figures to end in another fight as a person with knowledge of the teams thinking said that the club is investigating legal means to void the remainder of Rodriguez’s contract.

Rodriguez, who injured himself in a fight in the family lounge at Citi Field immediately following Wednesday’s game against the Rockies when he beat up the father of his girlfriend, is due $11.5 million next year and a reasonably easy to obtain vesting option of $17.5 million for 2012.

He was great with the Angels. I think money, fame, chicks, and ego has gotten the best of him....

I wouldn't say he was a knuckle head bro. Many times we've all been in situations that maybe we had to throw a punch as well. Now, I will say he's a knuckle head for not punching properly though.

Sounds like he threw the first punch. Definitely a knuckle-head move. That punch may wind up costing him close to 30 million.
