Not to Jinx anything but...

So far this year there have been no injuries (except for Kelly which the guy is a walking injury). Usually by now we have witnessed a few casualties so maybe Ray Ray's offseason conditioning program is doing the trick. I like Shanny's philosophy of getting in shape during the offseason, practice in pads in the morning when its not real hot out, do a walk through in the afternoon for mental preparation, and try to preserve the player's bodies for the season.
I am not sure if it will translate into wins, but the way he is conducting business is A-O-K in my book.

*knock on wood*.. I believe that your impressed because its a real camp this summer and not the usual.. ummm... "other" stuff that we've seen in the past. I know we haven't played one game yet but the definite upgrade with our staff is lookin favorable.
As for the last part, it WILL translate into wins Cappo.. have faith my friend!

The guy is an absolute joke. They should trade him now for some kind of draft pick. He's too brittle to ever amount to anything in the NFL.

Really? We havent even been through a full week of camp, let alone a pre-season game and already you post this....? Again....Really dude? Really?
P.S. Sentences that start out "Not to jinx anything but..." is pretty much jinxing something with a disclaimer....If someone important gets injured before the Reg. season you should be banned!!! Until that person returns or something...

There is no doubt the conditioning program is better. I always thought our conditioning program wasn't great because we had so many injuries every year, but we will see if it is really improved when the season starts. Pretty much everything in the organization is better than it has been for a long time.

Yupster's 2nd paradox: It's bad luck to be superstitious.

Looks like I hit a nerve! haha The reason I started this thread is, because it seems the past few years we've had someone get injured, seriously injured within the first few days of camp. And since there was a big emphasis on the offseason conditioning program by Shanny, so far, he has made his case as to how important a good offseason conditioning program really is. Not to mention his scheduling of events throughout the day and not try to kill our guys in the midsummer heat and humidity.

"No disrespect man, but...."= "I'm about to totally disrespect you"
"I hate to say this, but...." = "I can't WAIT to say this"
"Not to jinx anything but..." = "This'll probably jinx everything"
Still, I think he makes a good point. There have been major injuries right from the begining the past few years and I think it makes sense that the "out-of-condition" injuries tend to happen in the first few sessions.
Haynesworth could be a case in point. He's probably not in the condition he should be (despite all his assurances of all his personal "hard work") and just trying to do these sprints already has his knee sore. Keeping in mind, of course, that the "sore knee" could also just be his way of getting out of embarrassing himself by failing the test again.

I don't believe in luck, Jinxes, ghosts or goblins but I think your last sentence is close to being very accurate.

Donovan McNabb and Clinton Portis both look noticably thinner as well. And, the players who were asked to bulk up haven't seemed to have a problem doing so.
I think our S & C coach is definitely on the right track although it is early.

Lol no nerve hit just playing a long but still think its to early to say "pheww no injuries". Ill give you credit though as of right now, Philly cant say the same thing.

Furrey has caught 41 passes for 351 yards & 0 TD's in the last 2 years. He's camp fodder.

Are you accusing me of hyperbole? Dude, that would be the biggest exaggeration in the history of time.
