Couldn't help but notice that Jacquez Green (TB)and Kevin Lockett (JAX) were both released by their respective teams yesterday.

Anybody notice any other former Redskins in the mass cuts?

not sure about any other but I can't believe Lockett couldn't make the roster with Jimmy Smith sitting out a few games.

Lets see Green, Anthony, Doerhing, and Lockett no longer playing for anyone. I guess we had a pretty crappy WR corp last season.

I always did kinda like him in preseason ganes. He made a lot of catches in garbage 4th-quarter time and busted his butt on special teams.

So that's:

Jacquez Green (TBay)
Kevin Lockett (JAX)
Justin Skaggs (49ers)
Alex Sulfsted (Bengals)
Greg Jones (Cardinals)

Plus I found a few more 'former Redskins':

Skip Hicks (CAR)
Craig Jarrett (HOU)
Reggie Coleman (GB)
Jose Cortez (KC)

Other former Redskins in the news:

Todd Husak was signed by the Jets.
Greg Jones was picked up by the Bengals

Can't help but echo an amen to Rayskin69's observation that our WR corps must have really sucked.

... But it doesn't now.

Man, I'm ready for some football.

Greg Scott was picked up by the Bengals. Jace Sayler was also let go.

Sorry to correct a slight oversight, but Doering is still playing for the Steelers as of tonight; unless you are referring to someone else.
