This guy had a monster year a couple of years ago and then dropped off the map.

Good thing we're bringing in versatile players that can not only contribute at WR but can't play special teams, unlike Marko... I loved the guy too but you gotta be multi-talented that far down the depth chart.

Redskins still need a legit starting WR, DT and Kelly don't sound like they are cutting it. I think we might need 800 yards 60 catches and 6 TDs from that available WR. It's T.O. Time!

Don't waste your time friend.. many on here still believe T.O. has it in him to turn into the WR who beefs with his QB... even though he actually CRIED for one of them. *shrug*.. whatever at this point but I don't see how T.O. can function with McNabb.

I hope Furry catches on quickly but guys don't be too concerned about WRs. Don't forget McNabb made good WRs out of Hank Baskett, Jason Avant, Reggie Brown, and Kevin Curtis ... and those guys are essentially bums.

LETS GO FURRY, GET FURRYOUS!.. ( )

Nice list of awful eagles recievers! But only time mcnabb got to superbowl was season with TO. We need better WRs. I don't need it to be TO but TO is better than furry DT Kelly hagans etc on our team. Maybe moss is better but that's very debateable. Skins offense will not be good enough without better weapons

There is already one primadonna on the team.

One is too many. Two is stupid. There is a reason that TO is still available. Hopefully, he remains "available" for a LOOOOONG time.

I hope the Cowboys or Giants sign him

Furrey could be a nice addition. I remember when he was the Lions 2nd/3rd WR under the MArtz offense. He raked in a ton of catches by basically being a precise route runner with good hands. Similar in style to Bobby Wade. McNabb may lean on some of these veteran guys to move the chains.

Shany basically said that Furrey is camp fodder. He's just here because several WR's are missing or have minor injuries.

I understand that our 2008 draft WR's are questionable but lets not forget how wretched the play calling was.

Kelly's stats were horrible but PLEASE..... PLEASE.... Someone tell me how many fade routes/jump balls were thrown in the endzone the past 2 years? If that # is under 10 which I KNOW it is, then we can't really call the kid a bust yet.

Furrey also played safety a few games last year for the Brownies. He is versatile and can return punts. This is a solid signing whether he makes the team or not. He is a pro that will do everything right in camp and push everyone around him to do better. He has a shot to make it.
