Ugh, will this be the straw that breaks Shanny's / Allen's back? Take what we can and deal him? Surely this affects his stock which was suffering before this came out. Dang, when it rains - Moss HGH issues / Haynesworth's Preg issue - it freakin pours.

Let's ride this out before we form the lynch mob.

If true.....
SO WHAT?????

There is a long tradition of suing pro athletes using false accusations. Chances are this is just another one of them.
But, even if it is true, I don't see what the big deal would be. It's Haynesworth's business and something he'll have to take care of. Nothing for the coaches to worry about, IMO.

I was damn near crucified when I called the 2nd 'victim' of big Ben was a gold digger (not necessarily by you). How can this claim he justified here and not in big Ben's case?

Rape and fathering a child are two VERY different claims. And also, in Big Ben's case, he has both a history of these problems and in this case in particular there is a decent amount of evidence involved. It wasn't just a random woman claiming she had been raped.
So, the biggest difference I see is this: if Haynesworth is "guilty" here, it's not a big deal (except for his wallet

). If Ben is guilty, it's a serious crime.

Good to see big Al is still getting penetration in the off-season......Isn't that what we paid him to do?!?!?

No criminal charges have been brought against Ben, I thought we were comparing civil vs civil.

I don't see what civil / criminal charges have to do with it, since I'm not the one judging the case or administering fines or penalties. All I meant is: if Ben did what that woman said he did, then he raped her. If Albert did what this woman said, he's the father of a child from their (consentual) relationship. I see a big difference between the two.

$10 million is a LOT of money even for a guy like Haynesworth. I'm guessing the ex-girlfriend (and her lawyer) are shooting for a settlement that is much lower than that.

Oh... so, let's just pretend that there is no difference between a paternity suit and a criminal investigation for allegations of rape...

"know when to hold em, know when to fold em....know when to walk away, and KNOW when to RUN...."
hehehehe..... it would be poetic justice for NOT coming to mini-camp (in some peoples' eyes)

Maybe the stripper is working for Snyder in an effort to recoup some of that wasted $21M bonus just paid to Haynesworth

Haynesworth has a sizeable rap sheet too:
2009 - Albert Haynesworth's wife filed for court order to force the Washington defensive tackle to pay up their debts going back to April 2008 and also wants a restraining order as part of their divorce case.
2006 - Center Andre Gurode fell to the ground, and his helmet was removed by Haynesworth. Haynesworth tried to stomp on Gurode's head, but missed. A second stomp opened a severe wound on Gurode's forehead, narrowly missing his right eye.
2006 - Arrest warrants were issued against Haynesworth in two Tennessee counties in May 2006 stemming from a traffic incident on Interstate 40. Both sets of charges were dropped in June 2006. The judge in the Putnam County case tossed the charges on the grounds that the alleged offense happened out of their jurisdiction. In Smith County, the district attorney dismissed the charges.
2008 - in another case, Haynesworth agreed to 30 days probation to divert a ticket for driving 103 mph in a 70 mph zone.
2009 - Haynesworth was indicted on two misdemeanor traffic charges stemming from a December 2008 car accident in Tennessee
He's no angel, that's for sure.

Sure, he's been in legal trouble. But Ben had already been involved in a sexual abuse incident . . . and continued to hang around bars and hook up with women under questionable circumstances. It's a bit disingenuous to compare traffic tickets to repeated allegations of sexual abuse, IMO.

Sure. And I wasn't comparing them directly. But stomping on a guys face, during an NFL game and causing him to need 30 stitches is hardly an indication of good character. In fact, not much of anything Haynesworth has done in his NFL career would lead one to believe he has much good character. He's had trouble with his wife. Trouble with other women. Trouble with players. trouble with coaches. Trouble with motorists. I'm beginning to wonder if he gets along with anyone???

No one, including IB is going to defend Haynesworth's character. He's an idiot, as has been documented on multiple occasions.
The point is, THIS thread is about a child support case...
hence...
SO WHAT???
If Al want's to spend all his money on a full service pole dancer, hey, it's a free country.
This is a non-issue.
