When do we get T.O.?

I never liked this guy, but I think we need him. Mcnabb wants him and he wants to come here. We only have one proven WR (Moss) and he's injured. Let's face it, we need him. Come on coach pull the triger! I want T.O.! Geeesh, that was hard to say.

How forceful does McNabb need to be when he says that he DOES NOT want TO???
McNAbb DENIES he wants TO

When? Well, I mean it's pretty chilly outside, but I don't think it's quite cold enough to freeze hell over...

I have a feeling now that this might happen.

I think you might be right. If Thomas and Kelly continue to not impress the new coaches, we might not have a choice.

Let's do it! Coach Shanahan knows how to handle T.O., plus McNabb wants him also. I went on CBSSportsline and they have him ranked higher then any WR we have on our team. I also saw T.O. on NFL Network this weekend and it's obvious he wants to come here. What do we have to lose?

The only thing I saw obvious was that TO likes the spotlight...and it jsut so happens talkin about the 'skins and McNabb puts him there.

MY VOTE: Bring him in. as much drama as there's been this offseason (Fat Albert, Fat Albert's mistress and Moss (et. al?) and a syringe), he will be the LEAST of the athletes we'd have to worry about.
And, yes, he is a CLEAR upgrade at WR.

You must not remember some of the antics he's had in the past.

Absolutely NO antics in Buffalo besides a busted show. I'll take that anyday over off the field issues and drugs/roids. Yet, him w/McNabb at this point wouldn't make sense to me.

I remember that man leading his team to the SB and rehabbing like mess to play at a world class level on the greatest stage in his sport.
...I think he's also made headlines for some other things, as well.
I remember the 'accidental' overdose, but, in his defense, he was playing in Dallas.
Can you blame him?

Since when do WRs lead a team in victory? Go ahead and do a little reading up on his burning bridges and cancerous action.
BTW, how'd that Super Bowl charge go in Buffalo?

Including, obtw, a very large bridge that he absolutely NUKED with McNabb...

I don't like T.O. but think he's too old to be a cancer we can't deal with. I say grab him. This is a vote of no confidence for Thomas, Kelly, and Moss. If we were trying to build for the future, I would say no TO, but it's obvious now we aren't.

I could NOT believe the Rams were going to offer him a contract...why would you do that with a rookie quarterback? Why throw a dominant personality in the huddle right off the bat? THis reminds me of Shockey on the Giants as Eli was growing up. The finally got rid of him. Unbelievable.
I figured the Bengals might do it with a veteran qb.

What does age have to do with his being disruptive in the clubhouse? Many people get grouchier with age. Just ask our resident curmudgeon

I don't agree ch1 - I think these guys are not only keeping the future very much in mind, I think they are also looking to the immediate future (NOW) as well - this franchise was in total disarray and now we are looking at a lot of positives going into TC
I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much but I'm just so glad that this franchise is now in the hands of NFL types and not a marketing guru and his 'yes men' - I know that you have serious doubts about both the FO and the coaching staff but I think we're way ahead of where we thought we would be by this stage
at this time, we do NOT need T.O. - IMO we are not desparate at this position
yet and, if training camp indicates we do need help then I think they will try and get someone for a little longer term than what T.O. offers

Like him or not, T.O. is an incredible athlete and he would, in fact, upgrade our WR corps. The "company line" however appears to be that T.O. is not in the Redskins future. If/when Santana Moss is suspended, will that change? Probably.
I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing T.O. wear the Burgundy and Gold.
