:hmm:

The only position where we have adequate depth? This was either a waste or something is afoot.

Wasted pick there. Really no excuse for this one, unless it's part of a trade.

i laughingly predicted this positional pick as being one where we have no need at all ... and look what turns up :)
Lets go Redskins !

If that's the case might not be that bad of a pick. We need a solid FB (sorry but Sellers is way overrated).

This guy is a blocking TE. It's a need in some ways. Not a need "need" but we do need blocking a TE. Yoder is gone.

Davis and Cooley don't really block.

Why not take a chance on an OT or a WR? I don't get this team as far as the draft is concerned. Even that Perry Riley guy, you can find guys like him in FA for cheap. Go for the gold for crap's sake.

We were moving around to acquire picks as if we had this guy in the crosshairs. Somebody make sense of this quickly. No way we carry 4 Tight Ends on the 53. Someone will be gone.

Intersting but still puzzling. What's wrong with Mike Sellers, Eddie Williams, Chris Cooley, Sean Ryan, or Fred Davis. No way we have this kid on the field before any of them (except maybe Eddie Williams).

I'll call it like it is, this was a total mind fart. Meanwhile, Cleveland picked up a good Wide Receiver (Carlton Mitchell) - we need one of those.

We signed that P.O.S. from the Chiefs, Sean Ryan or whatever

I agree. Why would we spend 1 of our few picks on a position of strength and not need? It is either a stupid pick and huge waste or Cooley or Davis is about to be traded. If so, please don't trade Cooley!

I'm thinking Frankcal20 is on to something.

We currently have 3 TE's. 2 catchers, 1 blocker.

This guy may be competing with Mike Sellers and according to his stats apparently has better hands. 38 catches, 12 TD's last year. Def sounds like he could be our Hback.

True, but how many of these guys can you get onto the field? Mike Sellers and Eddie Williams are already on the roster. I just don't get it, but I'll be patient. I can't imagine that they would do something as wasteful as this appears at first glance.

Why do we watch these stupid drafts every year? for this? last year we ignored the line for special teams LB's that would have gone undrafted, oh and useless TE's of course. this guy isnt even in any of my publications. I was hoping he was a big-man that we were hoping to convert to tackle, but he weighs 253 lbs.

would it have been to hard to draft Selvish Capers? or ANY offensive linemen? rather than a 4th TE?

Faith in anyone not named Vinny. I'll wait to see how this works out before passing judgement
