It's believed Campbell has already worked out new deal w/ Al Davis, paying $3.14 mill this year, +$100k workout bonus, and $4.5 mill in '11

Jason Campbell: "I talked to [Raiders owner] Al Davis, and he said he wants me there. That means a lot to me. I'm ready to get to work."

Per NFL Network - it's Oaklands 5th and next year's 4th. I'm 100% cool with that. Each person win's in this deal being that there are rumors he would've been released.

Oakland just drafted a CB - McFadden with their 5th rounder??

How does that work? They don't have any more picks in the 5th round this year... does this mean we get McFadden?

They have a good running game, Lewis Murphy fits him better than Moss. Good hands, Fights for the ball. Should be ok.

I'm happy for Jason... but does he now need to rework his whole personna? Can he be a "bad-boy"?

Sorry - it's their pick at 190 in the 6th. They got our 5th rd pick mixed up.

I think it is for the Raiders 6th round pick this year, #190 + another late round pick.

Better than nothing!

I like how the Raiders fans are excited about this, and how the analysts are talking about his deep ball skills.

That's been something big for us over the years.

We traded out of our pick.

Looks like it's just the 2012 4th rounder for JC.

NFL network is reporting only the 2012 4th rounder, which I don't understand. Why didn't we at least get something next year? And for being so far off, a 4th rounder is really low compensation.

A 4th rounder is A 4TH ROUNDER. Good trade. Hope he does well in Oakland.

Why draft a player that you're going to lockout, waiting until 2012 to get compensation tells us a lot

Wish we could have kept him. I don't feel too comfortable with Rex as our backup...JC could come in, if McNabb gets hurt and do well..especially, if we shore up the line...which we've done pretty well.

If there is no draft next year, due to the labor situation then what?

I hope we explained there are no takebacks. I guess Al has learned something. Last time he got a QB who sucks from us it cost him Lachey. This time it was just a fourth rounder in two years...

Well let's see.

A) Nothing

B) Fourth Rounder in 2012

I'm going with option "B"
