Sorry, but the Red Wings are going to end the Hawks season and the Penguins are sending the Caps home in the second round on their way to the Wings/Pens Final III. Maybe next year...

Hey all,
I'm just getting into Hockey...but my bro has been a Kings fans for decades.

Question: what happens to all those HATS thrown onto the ice at the end on game.....? For example, the Sunday night game which the Caps won....??? They were sweeping hats, and boy, I'd hate to lose a $20 hats....

Also, the Hawks will beat the Red Wings.. the Red Wings aren't playing up to their own standards these days (according to the highlights I've seen).

I can care less who wins really, I just want someone to knock the Pendorks out.. kinda like the Cowpunks in that regard

I hate the Penguins, I'll be thrilled if you win. Unfortunately the league office loves them and tilts the ice in their favor every chance they get. I'm a lot less confident about the Wings right now after game 3. We have a goaltending problem this year with Howard. Don't get me wrong, I like him a lot and he had a great season, but most goalies take some adapting to learn to play playoff hockey. The problem for us is we really need him to get experience and if we go back to Ozzie then he won't get that. But if we stay with Howard I'm afraid we won't get out of the first round.

..but it is Detroit and those guys always turn it on when it matters. Blackhawks played great all season.. I wish ya'll luck on this round.

They give 'em to the Haitians. No really I think they do. Thats what they do with the pre-printed tee shirts that say (for instance) Detroit Red Wings 2009 Stanley Cup Champions. and then the Wings lose, and they have thousands of shirts they give away to African and carribean nations. Saw a documentary on it.

The hats are taken to customer service and you can reclaim yours if you want to. Otherwise they are usually donated or thrown away.

I am taking the day off. I'm still hung over from the best weekend of my life.
Went to the Steel Pulse Concert Friday night
went to the Blackhawks game on Saturday
Went to the Indy 500 Sunday
Watched the Hawks game last night on TV.

That 6-5 game was quite possibly the loudest sporting event I've ever been to (including the games in the old Chicago stadium). Just an awesome experience. Wish the Skins could muster the same.

Two down, two to go. This town is going bonkers!

We were winning that OT up until the last 1 minute. let down central. Just need to get 1 in Philly.

Oh they will, because I need them too.. I won't be able to take it here with my PA co-workers if they don't. LOL
