that is such an amazing deal. how much did the pukes give up for friggin Roy Williams? And the Phins got somebody thrice as good for some mid second rounders?

I gotta tell you that Josh McDaniels is detroying this team. You get rid of your best QB on the team, now you get rid of your best WR on the team now there is talk that they are gonna get rid of Tony Scheffler. Unbelieveable.

yeah but with all the things we need, I'm glad they did not do this deal for the price we would have had to pay - we are not a team that is building for the now but rather for the future and while McNabb is a huge help with the transition, we just are not in need of a WR - we need O line help
some fans here think like we are just a player or 2 away
we are looking to remake this franchise and we really need certain parts:
1 - we had no QB now we have one that will help
2 - we have some guys that can catch the ball
3 - we have some guys that can run the ball
now we need some guys that can run block and pass protect
I think these guys are doing well with the restraint that they are showing

My point is that these guys are the three best players at their position on this team and two of them are gone. And a third could be out the door. In 2008 Jay Cutler's last season with the Broncos they were 2nd in total offense. 3rd in passing, 12th in rushing. Last year they were 15th in total offense. 13th in passing and 18th in rushing. Josh McDaniels didn't need to fix the offense, he needed to fix the defense which he brought in Mike Nolan who took that defense from the 28th ranked defense to the 7th ranked defense and now Nolan is gone all because of Josh McDaniels. Don't be surprised if Josh McDaniels gets fired at the end of the 2011 season if there is one.
