the problem I have is he played for Jerry Jones. I don't remember Snyder breathing on Spurrier's neck on the sidelines during a loss.

I have never liked Emmitt Smith. And this is just another example why. Why, do you need to say anything. Shut, up and except your Hall of fame award.

I hate Emmitt Smith but I don't really have a problem with anything he said. He didn't say anything that hasn't been said before and there is a lot of truth in what he said, especially about trying to buy a championship.

Many years ago when Emmitt Smith was the premier running back in the NFL, my wife was doing a radiology seminar in Atlanta. The Cowboys were playing the Falcons. She was supposed to be out of the conference room by 4:00 pm but was having trouble getting the equipment packed because the guy that was supposed to help did not show up.
Three Dallas players came into the room and Smith was one of them. The other two were the quarterback and a tall, tall defensive player. The q-back used a lot of profanity and told her to get the "****' out and they left except for Emmitt Smith. He stayed and helped my wife pack the rest of the equipment and even carried it out for her. My wife did not know who he was until we were watching the Redskins/Dallas game at Thanksgiving. She pointed out the "little one", Emmitt Smith.
Emmitt Smith's comments may be offensive but he was a gentleman and a man of character to take time to help pack and carry x-ray equipment.

Every thanksgiving I see Snyder handing out Turkeys, where's emmitts turkey? Snyder sent his plane to Haiti for crying out loud, not compassionate? What did Emmitt do for Haiti...nothing. So emmitt you hate Snyder for thinking he could buy a title, what did Jerry do? Did you draft Deion? or buy him?
Emmitt is Jerry's little femaledog and will do anything to make him smile

Weak. I have no problem that he like beating the skins' because they are our rivals, so that is natural. But.. from what I remember, didn't Dan Snyder donate personally 1 million when there was that huge earthquake/tsunami a few years ago? I remember hearing that the NFL as a whole league donated 1 million, but Snyder ALONE donated that amount. I also remember hearing Blance and others saying how he would spare no cost to use his private jet and amenities to help family member battling cancer etc. And all I can say is that if Joe Gibbs vouches for the guy, that's all I need. Im not a Snyder apologist by any means, but I think a lot of people are just haters because he is young, aggressive and super rich. whatever emmit... go back to broadcasting... oh wait... nevermind you cant even form something that would resemble a comprehensible sentence in the English language. His strength got debacled.

Difference is that Jones has Super Bowl rings, and the core of their titles was guys that they drafted.

I don't see a problem with the comments. So he call's Snyder prideful; have any of us ever thought otherwise? He claims he was offended that Snyder thought he could buy a title; haven't most of us on this site complained about the same? He loves to beat the redskins... we love to beat the cowpukes. If you want to dislike him for being a Cowgirl, go ahead, but don't get mad at the guy for saying the same stuff we say and think.

Hey we have to hate each other or there would be no rivalry. It's no secret all of the cowboys, former cowboys, cowboy fans, and their families are all evil people.

Jones got hte Super Bowls because the Vikings are the dumbest freaking team ever. Without the Hershcel Walker trade the SKins are tied with the Giants for most Super Bowls in the East!

How does anybody dare insult his name and blameless reputation. The man is a Saint.
Shame on you people. You are attacking a man of character and integrity who is loved by all fans in the NFL, all his current and past employees and all his current and previous business associates. His genius is underestimated and his vast knowledge of the game is vastly underestimated.

“I applaud Emmitt Smith’s induction into the NFL Hall of Fame and, from what I understand, he’s a heck of a dancer. I think we’ve only met once briefly at an NFL function in 2000. I will say, however, that I like to think of myself as being a compassionate person, except toward the Dallas Cowboys.”

This is the kind of "involvement" I don't mind Danny having. Stick to weak attempts at humor, Mr. Snyder, and stay away from day-to-day football operations!
