Hognostication Playoffs - Championship Round

Mirroring the NFL playoffs, here at THN, three out of four home teams won. Hoss used his playoff experience to muscle by the young KazooSkinsFan team for the weekend's only upset. The jeremyroyce-Mursilis tilt was a close affair, and went into OT after a late scoring drive by jeremyroyce tied the game. Sadly for the visitors, on the opening kick-off, their KR tripped over his own feet, fumbled the ball, and it was recovered by Mursilis in the end-zone for the game winner. Number one seed TeeterSalad blew out REDEEMEDSKIN, and it was effectively over in the first quarter. And Deadskins rounded out the weekend with a victory over DesertSkin. Although clearly very intimidated by DesertSkin's picks (as they were identical to his own), Deadskins had a comfortable lead at the half, and pulled away as the game progressed.

Here is the updated tournament bracket:

I started out lower, then thought "How high can I go, where he'll still take the over?" :P

What he said.

And, in that same vein:
Congrats Mursilis.
Take Monkey that, Hoss.

Cue the Incredible Hulk "walking-away music" as Deadskins walks off the field, head hung in self pity. In the background, TeeterSalad hoists the HHC trophy (recently renamed the Joe Bugel Trophy, or "Bugesy") to the cheers of the home crowd.

Thank you!

Nice to see the Saints get a shot at a ring in the big game. Definitely a nice story there.

With the exception of Shockey, I want the Saints to win it all.

Thanks Guys!! Thanks for putting this together Deadskins!!

I'm cheering Saints all the way, always rather have an NFC team win the Championship.
