Bruce Smith DUI, didnt see it anywhere so I thought I would share it with yall.

From the linked article:

Smith told reporters he has hired a former state trooper to accompany him when he meets friends for dinner in the future.


Is it just me, or is that really odd?

Here's an idea Bruce - take a cab.

Or since you can obviously afford to hire someone to bring with you - take a limo.

His attorney, Larry Cardon, said at Smith's first trial in July that the 19-year NFL veteran's 11 knee surgeries made it difficult for him to walk a straight line heel-to-toe and stand on one leg for 30 seconds.


I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that's the excuse he always used to get out of practice. :moon:

I think we signed him after his 10th knee injury, what a great pick up :roll:

I hope so, but I doubt that it's likely. He has a fairly long history of this. Very sad.
