Im sorry, I like Vick but he's overrated. He's fast and he'll out run people but he's fragile. I hope we play them and Lavar smashes his @$$ into the ground. Not to hurt or end his career, but to make him think twice about running away from our mediocre linemen

We play them during week five of the preseason. I think he's more careful since Adalius Thomas broke his leg.

Lol, I hope Lavar scares the hell out of him. But I want to see him suceed so he need not break him up. Just put him on his @ss once or twice and all order will be restored in the universe.

Yeah, I think we should get Michael Vick too. While we're at it, why don't we pick up Ray Lewis, Randy Moss and Dante Hall. Who knows, if we're lucky, we might be able to swing a trade for Jim Brown in his prime.
What is the point of this thread?

Sorry Linda, but we don't need Vick - sure if we had him it would be great, but we need a great pass rushing end, or lots of good pass rushing ends, or an offense that holds the ball for 3 quarters of the game.
Yeah, that would work.

Hi, Linda...
Joe Gibbs, as you know, never really went for the marquee qb. I think Brunell and Ramsey will be just fine. We'll probably be dink and dunk for a little while, but once the ground game takes off, and Williams' defense gets to going, you'll see some 15-20 yard passes. With our receivers and good blocking TE's like Rasby and hopefully Chamberlain, that could translate to a 20-25 yard gain on a 15-yard pass. It'll happen. We need to not panic and pull the trigger on a move like that with Vick. We're all set at qb, aside from the # 3, in my opinion.
Also, don't you worry none about Mr. Arrington, either. He'll come ready to go. I promise.

TC great info for Linda.
Linda, I respect your desire to win and who you think might be the "key", but I'm sorry you'll have 95% of the board telling you Vick is not the man. I think he is a great QB, but not for this franchise, at least not right now and for a long time. You need to believe in Gibbs and trust his every move. Seriously, the man is a genius in a lot of ways, and one of the most dedicated and decorated coaches ever. Ramsey and Brunell will be fine, Portis will be a huge impact and another year of the people that stayed with us adds more chemistry. Our additions this year make sense and we will be much better for that. Our new coahing staff ( in its entirety) will make a huge difference, as well. We need more of a presence on our D- Line and an immedidate impact player out of the Draft such as Taylor, Udeze, or Winslow. With the peices we have in place now, we are a "contender" much more than a "pretender". So, please.... stop pretending that the Redskins don't know what they are doing.
THANK YOU from all of us who believe and trust in our orginization.

No, Reggie. Think about it.
The worst idea you ever heard was, "Well, the Fun 'n Gun worked in the SEC. Why don't I bring some of them boys up here, coach 'em up and have 'em play in the big leagues for the old Ball Coach ? Yeah, we'll have a BBQ at my house with my boy Danny readin' his favorite scriptures to git some of that there, what do you call it, 'chemist-tree' workin' !"
Linda's plan positively pales in comparision, doesn't it ?

chill linda baby chill....im just saying your idea is absurd don't take it personal. The fact that i feel Reggie Brooks was the greatest skins running back ever is absurd. and Spurrier III's idea was absurd as well.
