I believe that we are going to win another game or two so we might be picking top ten but outside the 5th pick. Do we pick the second OT or jump into Spiller Wagon !!!
I believe that if the second OT is good enough to be picked that high we still take him...I am not sure who is that guy yet, but after seeing how much time Donavan Mcnab had yesterday in the pocket to find his recieves .. I think we MUST address the OL though the draft in the first round if talent is there at tackle only, Guards and Centers are easier to plug in from FA or later in the draft..

I think that it's really important that we wait to see which Jr's come out and declare. If you are a talented LT, you come out this year.

Keep in mind that there is most likely going to be a rookie salary cap following next years draft and that will factor into a lot of decisions that these young studs have in what they are going to do with their future.

Why do posters insist in throwing out Spiller's name for our 1st round pick? RB is not a huge need for us! We need OL (a few), LB, CB and FS way more.

I'm not totally sold on Portis being done. With a good line, he becomes a factor again. The guy plays hard. Ganther and Rock are fine as 2nd and 3rd backs. Remember, with Shanahan, you can get a rb in any round? Anyone remember him saying that when he traded Portis...OMG, did anyone realize they'll be reunited?

We need OL. If there isn't a quality OT at our pick, trade down and get an extra pick. I truly want to see at least 5 new OL in camp next year competing for spots. Of those 5 I want to see 2 top picks and a few quality FA's.

We have no home run threat. We have serviceable backs currently (Betts won't be 100% until 2011, and he'll be how old?), but nothing more. We don't have the field general such as Manning/Brees/<cringe> Brady, so we need an above average RB.

We do need to address the line, I agree, but let's be reasonable. We need a RB.

Spiller is nothing without a line. Trade down and pick up Trent williams.

We could easily trade back for a decent OT. Although I have a feeling one or two after Okung will pick up steam, and will be draftable when the skins pick.

If there is not a worthy LT at our pick, trade down for picks.

Getting either a RB or QB would be stupid.

I disagree with the idea of trading down. Right now we have the 6th pick overall and we should be able to get a stud player at either qb, OT, rb, cb, etc. You take the best player at a position of need with that pick,

We could take the kid out of Stanford and have Riggins v.2

Let's draft Lachey v2, not Riggins v2..

While I'm not a Shanahan fan, I do know that he'd rather have a good oline, over a rb...he believes any rb can work and I have to agree with him actually!

Oline.

Offensive Line

OL

Tackle Guard Center Guard Tackle

It doesn't matter ; We have to draft OL

But a top 5 pick is something different , you need a superstar regardless of position , and a superstar capable of bringing wins sometimes single handidly right?
