we could be on a 3 game win streak - how sweet it would be to finish up with a win for all the guys that are not going to be here next year like Cerrato and all the rest .....

I wouldn't mind beating the rivals, but to win out only screws our draft position. Don't play to lose, but give some of those young guys like Orakpo, Rob Jackson, Ganther, Mitchell, Thomas, Kelly, ect some playing time.

see there's this problem - if we play those guys, it looks like the team plays better and gives us a better chance to win - I think what you're implying is you'd like these guys to play to win but for the coaches to only use the players that give us the best chance to lose

I have just loved seeing this group have fun playing with all the so called stars now watching what happens when you make a bit more of an effort to both practice and play the game

Playing our young guys, like Barnes, Holmes, Mitchell, to see what they have and give them some game time experience would be beneficial.

I'm not advocating throwing games, but our post season is absent. There's no reason to push Fat Al with an ankle sprain or Hall with a knee sprain, risking more severe injury, just for the sake of having a better record with no post season aspirations this year.

We have a 3rd rnd draft pick in Barnes that's seen sparse action. Give that guy some game time experience. He'll be that much better off.

Or give Smoot some more time at FS since he practices there.
