Read the blog for the list of games. As Hoss noted last week, he'll update standings when he gets back... but, unofficially, it looks like langleyparkjoe took victory last week... even WITH the skins as one of his picks... Nice, Joe!

Per the 'no editing' rule, I'm posting my correction in a new post.

I'm picking Philly over NYG.

Thanks.

well that was a bit of a wake up

the Redskins are a bad team but we are not as bad as the Browns - goes to show what can happen when a bunch of guys play better as a team - the Steelers lost this game only because they did not play well together - a better talented team will end up losing in most cases to a team of less talent that finds a way to play together - the Browns offense is way worse than ours but that defensive effort was the difference

The Browns defense (sans Rogers) did well. I was particularly impressed with their secondary; they have great man coverage. If the Browns get a QB, #1, and a little line help, they'll be formidable.

You just had to really like to see that man coverage - all NFL defensive backfields can be just as effective as that if they are prepared and coached properly - the players get the accolades but the coaches get them prepared and have a game plan that gives them the opportunity - it ain't so much the car as it is the driver

the Browns have a QB, they just need the support around him

I will be showing in my hognostications that I think this team might win a couple more games this year
