So now what???? Has the Fire been lost?

Is anyone else wondering what is going to happen at the end of the year with Vinny, Zorn and many of our starters? I'm hearing less and less about it since we're playing better (at least competitive with some better teams) with less talent. Do you think we'll get rid of Vinny or Zorn or both. Do you think Portis is out of here, how about Campbell? What about Carlos? I don't live in DC anymore, so I'm curious whether the fans are still putting pressure on Snyder to make changes or are they feeling better about heading into next year with a couple changes to personel.

There are so many decisions to be made, and that alone makes me want a solid GM to come in here. Vinny will really screw this up. Will, hell, he already has. I'm not sold on Zorn, but coupled with Sherm, he doesn't bother me as much. I would rather have Gruden. If a coaching change is made, it had better be a coach in the west coast offensive scheme. I want Portis cut. I would like to see Campbell cut, but not sure if we can afford a 1st or 2nd round pick on a QB. Carlos has got to go.

Just wondering if the fans have lost the fire to clean house...

It doesn't matter what we want, though. I am still of the opinion that we need to fire anyone above and including coordinators and go from there. I think our defense can be better, and Blache isn't reaching potential IMO. Slam me if you like, but that's what I think...

Say what you want about the Redskins poor offensive performances this year.

9 points against an awful St. Louis D.

6 against Dallas after their run stoppers held serve.

Caneskin and I went back and forth on a thread yesterday suggesting we lose out to get a better 1st round pick in the draft.

You disrespect yourself and the league if you intend to purposely throw games.

We already have the reputation that we can't get out of our own way (deservedly so)

Let's focus on what we can control. The ability to score points in abundance.

Execution, execution, execution.

You cannot stop fighting. Devin Thomas went up against an undefeated secondary and tore em up.

That's not a lie. It happened.

Go from there. Winning will be a confidence boost for the future of this franchise.

Thomas, Kelly, Davis, Cooley and Randle El should keeps their jobs.

Campbell, Moss & Sellers r on the hot seat in my opinion.

Portis, if he can shut up and just play, could have one more year as our starting tailback.

JC shouldn't be let go for nothing. If he is demanding a huge contract extension than we should say adios muchacho.

Don't have a lot of options for a significant upgrade at QB for 2010-2011, bc of our o-line problems.

We need to bring in young bulls. No way the oldest team in the league makes it through a 16-game season without the kind of injuries that have dampened FEDEX with salty tears.

Be competitive till the end Skins.'

I would actually take it one step further and say that pretty much the entire coaching staff and above needs to go.

No I wouldn't say they lost the fire...Just the opposite I think everyone knows including Zone that he and his staff are gone...but as I have always said and the talk around D.C. is that Vinny must be the first to go.

I'm sure Vinny is trying to make the case to Snyder...Look at my draft picks with good playcalling...but the rumor is he was the one who suggested Zorn...so he should go first!!
One things for sure its going to be anther soap opera offseason for Skins fans!

We are still a bad team - we are not suddenly close to being an NFL team again - there are a lot of mitigating factors and despite the way this group has played the last 3 games, the fact remains this franchise will not be competitive with the NFC East teams until we make some major changes

I was a little bothered during the Saints game that we might win - don't get me wrong, I would have loved to beat the Saints but I was concerned that a win might cause some to think that we are not as bad a team as we thought
we are a bad team and we need to make a lot of changes

the fact that anyone thinks that Sherm Lewis can call plays is just ludicrous - I'll bet that when he's let go, Sherm Lewis will not be calling plays in the NFL - are you friggin' kidding me - first of all, we have been told that Lewis is only calling part of the plays  this is a joke - the only reason these plays that Lewis is calling could be working is that the plays that we had before were so terrible that they had no chance - and those are the plays that we practiced during the pre-season and up until we suddenly had a change here and found a guy calling bingo games that could still call plays in the NFL  this is a good example of why this franchise is held in ridicule by the rest of the NFL

give me a break - we need a lot of changes here but most importantly at the top - we are a bad team, don't kid yourselves

No idea what will happen in the offseason, but I'm definitely scratching my head over what this all means. The offense has definitely played better the past few games than they did in September, no matter the win/loss record.

Is it that we found a running game once Portis left the lineup? I mean it's either Lewis and his playcalling or Portis being out. I think it's about Portis. We finally have some kids that run the ball hard. Some of those cuts Gaither was making were pretty sick. Same with Rock
