5(5). Washington Redskins

*Kenechi Udeze Defensive End USC

I think the Redskins have a great shot at getting Udeze but I don't think they will be in the #5 position when they are on the clock. Washington will be trying to recoup some of the draft picks they have lost during their busy offseason and Udeze should be around as long as they don't drop too far. I think if the Redskins stay put then it could be Kellen Winslow Jr.

Other possibilities: *Kellen Winslow Jr. TE Miami (Fla.), trade down for a defensive lineman.

I agree. They may draft Udeze, but it won't be at the #5 spot if they do!

I just don't understand how these mock drafts do not have us taking Sean Taylor esspecially now that the Eagles have acquired Owens. Clearly we could still improve our pass rush but how can you pass on the best player in the draft when our needs at safety are glaring.

If we drop too far we could miss out on Udeze. The Jags seem to have targeted him at pick number 9.

If we drop too far to draft Udeze, we could still grab Ohio State's Will Smith, who isn't the all-around DE Udeze is but is probably a better pure pass rusher.
