Has anyone here tried the Ionic Breeze ?

I'm looking at the Sharper Image product called Ionic Breeze. It's supposed to be the best thing out there for cleaning air in the home/office. They say it's noiseless and there's no filters to be changed. Sounds almost too good to be true. Has anybody tried it out yet ?

I would do some serious research, maybe consumer reports or something - they are pretty pricey if I am not mistaken and don't know if they work that great.
Brookstone and Sharper Image traditionally have made some of the more gadgety and useless stuff out there and sold if for boocoo bucks. No offense to any Sharper Image or Brookstone stock holders.

Thats funny... I just picked one up from CC and it is nice. The room is always fresh. I have on for the car and its also pretty effective. Its quite and you leave it running 24/7.
I recommend.

Great advice, Speek. Researching it was the first step, and I came here for testimonials. Armed with your advice, and the "Thumbs Up" from RSC...I'm gonna get one for downstairs first and try it out. It's a frickin' dustbowl here. RSC likes it, and I've found him to be pretty to-the-point around here.
Thanks to the both of you, and no thanks to the guy Samuels60 that gave me the "eye roll" for a first response to the post.
Darned newbies. Don't they look at the name of the forum ?
