I guess we didn't want Runyan or the FO was asleep at the wheel again. Runyan states he wants to run for Congress but now he's with the Chargers!!!???
Could we have used an OT..... I think so. Anything to help our Oline.

I wouldn't have wanted Runyan here. He's a bum. And he wouldn't be a solution for our problems whatsoever. Better just to limp along with Levi Jones and Heyer until we can address this problem next offseason.

Is Runyan so bad he's worse than Heyer?

He's not any better, IMO, and he's old and an Eagle to boot. Not to mention a bum.

He's essentially Jon Jansen at this point. Can't passblock. Not saying that Heyer is any good (because clearly, he's not), but Runyan wouldn't be an improvement either.

i don't think he's as bad as Heyer. He might struggle a little against speed rushers on the strong side, but how many good strong-side speed rushers are there? He can DEFINITELY run block and defend bull rushers much better.

Anyone ever think that we may have made a call but he didn't want to come here? Any thought that he wants to play for a team that is contending for a SB? The Charger's have shown to be leaps and bounds ahead of us this season. I was going to go to the game in SD by why spend $500 to go (hotel, tixs, gas, etc) and watch us get our butts kicked.

He also has a nasty attitude, which we could use a little of on the offensive side of the ball. Shame.

Yo Frankie baby.... I was gonna buy tix for the SD game way back at the start of season. With hopes up and very HIGH, it was a mouse click away...but my better judgment said NO NO NO... Kinda glad I didn't too.
Yeah back on topic....Runyan didn't want any of this mess we call the "our team"...... looking forward to next year already.

I wish we had kept Jon Jansen one more season.
