He should be used as a keven faulk he is always there for the catch, makes incredible catches and fights for the first. He should be used for 3rd down conversions. Rock is amazing!

Rock Cartwright is awesome. I mean, not in the sense that he's a superstar, but awesome in the sense that he was a 7th round fullback out of Kansas State who turned himself into a solid backup halfback and kick returner. He's not much of a threat to break open the big return but he gets the job done.

exactly he needs to be used more today he is doing great, it might because the cowboys were expecting a different running back but he is getting the job done today deserves more time

He's not that good, not sure why everyone is praising him...

Because his name is Rock, Because he's a career Redskin, because he plays until the whistle, because he can play RB, FB, gunner on special teams, and KR, because he plays hard no matter the down and distance, or the score, or even the teams record, because even though he's our 3rd string RB and running behind an awful O-line he had a 5.2 yard average, because he caught 7 passes for 73 yards... is that enough reason to praise him? Or does he need to score a defensive TD and kick a few FGs too?

I'm just saying I don't like the guy. I suppose I will give him praise for the last two games, he does work hard. Mainly I don't like him returning kicks. I'm glad he's done ok being the 3rd string RB but thats what he is.

I was going to respect your point until you made that last remark and now I'm going to have to comeback with something that may dull your mancrush on Rock. When have you seen him as a FB, wait even better yet when have you ever seen him used as a gunner? Our gunners are Westbrook and Tryon.

He's not a gunner, he's a blocker.
Rock as stepped up a lot better than I expected. He's running, catching, blocking....doing everything asked of him. Is he elite? No, but since Betts blew his knee out, CP is out for who knows how long, he's our workhorse and he's getting it done.
And he's not KR anymore I imagine since he's starting RB. Devin Thomas took that over and he looked good in his stead.
