Today’s Storyline
Call it a comeback – Washington posted its fourth victory in a row Saturday night at the New York Islanders, its sixth of the year, but did so in different fashion. The Capitals trailed 2-0 early in the third and rallied to produce their first comeback win of the campaign. That resiliency gives Washington its best record through 10 games (6-2-2) since the Eastern Conference championship team in 1997-98 and a five-point lead in the Southeast Division.
