I appreciate the fact that BMitch is laying into the team and calling them on their lack of performance...I wonder what he said to the same media who questioned his heart when he was on two of the worst teams in Skins history?
My favorite BMitch moment: The end of the 91 Super Bowl when they're doing all the "victory shots" of the Skins bench and they get to BMitch and he doesn't say "Hi Mom" or "We're the World Champs" or "Skins are #1". No, this "For the Love of the Game" Ballplayer says "I get a winner's game check". Sounds like a Team First Guy.

I am new to the board. Has anybody heard this show he talks about.
Is it worth a listen? If so when is it and how do I join in.

the Brian Mitchell show is on Monday and Friday, I believe at 1pm - it is really worth listening to if you can

Most at THN, myself included, think you are HOF worthy.
Mitchell finished his career ranked second all-time in all-purpose yards with 23,300, trailing only legendary wide receiver Jerry Rice, who has 23,546.

Thanks, JSPB. As I recall from the thread Wahoo cites, there is indeed a vocal minority who don't think BMitch deserves a place in the hall. But it's just that: a minority.
The case seems pretty obvious to me, but that's just one man's opinion. . .

Not this again. His best two years came on teams that were 3-13 and 6-10. One of the teams gave up the most points in the NFL....something that tends to lead to your team receiving kicks....tending to give your team at least 20 easy yards a pop....which tends to skew your stats if you are the primary kick returner. Anybody who's on the BMitch for the Hall of Fame bandwagon better also be on the Allen Rossum for the Hall Bandwagon also...'cause they had basically the same career, except Rossum played every down for part of his career.

I realize that there is another side to the debate with its own set of arguments. The short story is that I think they are somewhat weak and uncompelling. And, IIRC, that is the sentiment of most people on the board, as well.

Ridiculous argument. ST is 1/3 of the game, and the field position battle is very important to a team's success. But he was also a great 3rd down back for us as well. Not to mention he was a vocal team leader, and there was no one else in the NFL that I would have rather had returning kicks for the B&G.
