What a nice thing for 85 to do....buy all remaining tickets along with help of sponsor.... They give away tickets to fan....
CINCINNATI -- The Bengals have avoided a local television blackout for their game against the Houston Texans -- with an assist from Motorola and receiver Chad Ochocinco.
The club announced on Friday that it had sold enough tickets for Sunday's game to keep its streak intact. The last 46 Bengals games have been shown on local television.
More than 3,000 tickets remained on Thursday, when the club got a one-day extension from the NFL for avoiding a blackout. Motorola, which is a longtime Bengals sponsor and has a partnership with Ochocinco, bought 1,200 tickets and will give them away Saturday -- with the receiver's help -- at Paul Brown Stadium.
The Bengals are 4-1 and on sole possession of first place in the AFC North

I think he should invest his money even more wisely and buy the Redskins.
That's such an awesome thing to do, though.

Way to go Chad!
OTOH...

If the Redskins were 4-1, there would be fighting to get tickets... what's wrong with the fans in Cinci?????

That would be fine... except I'm one of those who has spent plenty of time ripping the dude...

He's been much better behaved the last couple of years. I think a down season and his age have been sobering factors in his life.
I was someone to rip on him before, and I'll give credit where it is due: this is a class act on his part.

I wasn't referring to anyone in particular. This thread would be 10 pages long if it was something "negative" that is typically blown out of proportion.
Heck, someone in Hogwash accused Rocky of only playing well cus he's in a contract year. People just say crazy things. I'm grumpy.

Too bad Ocho couldn't prevent his team from blacking out. Tough loss, but Matt Schaub is playing as well as any player in the league. Seriously underspoken and underrated.

That is an extremely cool thing to do.
I also like the fact that he didn't want the league to fine Ray Lewis for a hit hie took. That's classy.
