Brady Quinn...

okay guys, just a thought... how bout a trade for brady quinn? if i were the GM for the skins, i would look to use ALL of my draft picks the next two years to build a formidable OLine. if i am drafting a franchise QB right away, then that is a pick that i am NOT using on OLine. which to me is NO GOOD. so, how bout grabbing brady quinn as a 2 year project. (assuming we can get him without giving up 1st or 2nd round draft picks). if he pans out and develops, then we would have a good QB behind a good OLine. if he doesn't, then we draft our franchise QB 2 years from now AFTER the OLine has been built... similiar to the way the jets, ravens, and falcons all did. i would just hate to use a draft pick in the next two years on a QB, without the OL being repaired first. that QB would be doomed to failure. so, what are the other options. brady quinn seems interesting to me. probably could be had on the cheap. maybe even a campbell for quinn deal? i just think it is worth a shot to get a potential qb of the future without giving up the draft picks to do so. any thoughts?

I would not trade for Quinn. Cleveland would only want draft picks regardless. Also, Quinn is just not very good. End of story.

I used to like Quinn, but he has not exhibited good QBing this year. He has been in the league long enough to where you cannot make the excuse that he is new to the league or system. I would rather draft one in the upcoming draft. We very well may have a top 6-7 pick.

And as far as the Quinn for JC thing. THIS WAS ALREADY TRIED LAST YEAR AND CLEVELAND SAID NO. JC will be a FA next year and will have no trade value.

okay, so what kind of draft picks would be required to get quinn. a 4th? his value is at an all time low. and the guy has only played in 4 games in his career. i wouldn't judge him on 97 passes. perhaps a change of scenery would do him good. i just think that fixing this oline is going to take 2 years. i am prepared to suck for 2 years to build an oline. after that i want to get my QB of the future and be on my way. in the meantime, who is available at QB to take a swing on that COULD end up being a guy hitting there prime in 3 years when the OL takes flight. and perhaps allow us NOT to have to draft a QB of the future? quinn seems kinda logical. i just don't want to waste money or low draft picks on a qb that would get killed behind an oline that blows. OL MUST be addressed first. and quinns greatest value would be that we don't care if he gets killed behind a rebuilding oline the next two years.

I like Brady Quinn ok. I think the big problem is that he's already shown he's not a QB who can rise above playing on a bad team.

Neither QB in Cleveland is performing right now. What the Browns would want vs what either is worth are two different things.

Quinn is worth a 4th but the Browns will want a 1st or 2nd. And we all know that he's not worth that.

supposedly they are shopping him... i DOUBT they will want a first or second for him. i mean, they drafted him with a second round pick at the peak of his value. now he is at his lowest level of value. gotta think you start with a 3rd and work down.

Unless I am SERIOUSLY mistaken Quinn was a first rounder.

That's what I though. I am pretty sure that he was a first round pick around #22 and the browns gave up their 2nd rd pick and then the next years 1st. But I could be wrong.

Pass on any trade that would take away 2010 draft picks. I would rather see us trade players for more picks. No change at QB for this season.

Do you think Brady Quinn would be a good pick up? Maybe a trade for Campbell, Moss, Portis or a draft pick? Let TC start the remaining games.

Nah....

Dude has not looked good over there in Cleveland.

I'd rather wait for the Draft and get a good QB and refurbish the Oline.

He played three games his second year and a month this year for Mangini who has not had great results in the past with his QB's as a head coach.

I would say the jury is still out

The only things anybody can really say about Brady Quinn as a NFL player is that he's better than Jamarcus Russell and worse than Derek Anderson.

That kind of talent might be worth a second-day pick, but nothing above the 4th round.

I would only go after Quinn if it cost us a mid-round pick nothing more.

I'll take a lineman with that pick.

Don't forget though, Quinn played against Minn, Den, and Bmore defenses. Cleveland's OLine is similar to ours in the fact they can't block at all. So don't bash the dude, he doesn't suck he just doesn't have a good OLine.. sounds like JC to me

And we could get him for very little in my opinion.

If we could get Brady Quinn with a 3rd or 4th round pick and see if he can develop into a starter in the next year then it would be worth looking into. Regardless , we have to sure up the O-line and really need to do a real overhaul on the team.
