The Skins are the epitomy of failures

The Deadskins are the worst team given their talent. There is no reason for this team to be 2-3. I hate this team I will never watch another game it is a waste of my time. I thought they might have been able to string some wins together, but no. They have given the Lions and Panther's their first win. They suck and they will not be any better than 4-12 this year. I hate this team the ownership and the ineptitude that JC and JZ exhibit every week. I absolutely hate this team and everyone can rip me for not being a good fan, but ultimately a spade is a spade and a team that sucks is exactly that. This is the worst team I have seen in thirty five years. Not even entertaining. I hate everything about this organization. I hope players and coaches do read posts and the papers.

Weariness. Had to say more, although I can't believe:

- refs call on the punt/turnover

- Redskins decision to throw slaw to a short receiver rather than use Campbell's size and running

- Redskins decision to punt on their last possession (no TOs...); at best, would have given them the ball in bad field position with no timeouts and ony a few minutes left

- Total numbers on offense

What else?

At least the kid receivers caught the ball a few times.

Where are the pom poms of the "don't hate on our team" redskins fans? Hello--realization! We are one of the worst teams by far in this league, but pretend that we don't freaking suck and there is a "chance" that we will become something this year.

I want to charge Snyder for the loss of a Sunday....AGAIN. From someone in the military who has made deployments, worked duty weekends, etc...time with the family is a premium. So, when I take some time away from this to watch this crap it sickens me.

/end rant.

The dumbest rule in the league cost them a game.

Its scary to see where the team is without Samuels. Heyer needs to be replaced ASAP.

Waiting for someone to blame this on Campbell...

dude, this ship is at the bottom of the ocean. took on too much water.

Not at the bottom yet. They still have 11 fathoms left to go. They are going to continue to sink slowly each week a little further just to torent frustrate, and torture us a little more each each.

This is life of a Skins fan. I need to find something to counteract the sinking feeling.

that rule was costly but the offense should have buried this game by the middle of the 3rd quarter. Once again though they prove to be completely inept.

I'm kind of at the point where I don't care as much if they lose now. They aren't talented enough to be a playoff team, and even if they limped in they wouldn't make it very far. Why the offensive line wasn't addressed I'll never know.

in completement agreement, for some reason the sting is not as sharp any more.

Each close game and/or loss hurts me less. With each week the pattern calcifies and becomes our identity. I think things are pretty bad, and we are now clearly on the losing side of the battle to turn this season around.

Not sure if they can manage to halt the landslide now . . . I think one thing will lead to another this week and we could very well be in even worse shape against the Chiefs and Eagles.

No. It wasn't JC's fault, but I don't recall him making any plays either. Though, that was a nice pass to Thomas.

This game definitely falls on the head of Westbrook. Just because it seems like a stupid rule, doesn't mean that we shouldn't be prepared for it.

There's a reason why it took this guy so long to get off the practice squad. He sucks and will never make up for this bonehead move.

JZ with no real answers in his short post-game with the radio guys.

No real surprise there.

The rest of the season is looking ugly, we have a far tougher schedule to end the season and this team could be in complete disarray when that time is here. I was planning on attending a game next month on my trip to D.C. but now the last thing I want to spend a couple hundred dollars on is watching them in person. I'll still cheer and support my team, but I'm not supporting with my money what Snyder is putting on the field.

Probably a very good philosophy. If you don;t get your hopes up too high, then you can't get too disappointed, and the fall isn't a very long one.

Although I will say that rule is dumb, and even if you stink you shouldn't lose on something bogus like that.

I too agree. It doesn't hurt as much when you truly stop caring. I'm kinda amused to be honest. I want to see all the jokes, speculation about JZ's job, who Snyder has secretly met with, and how he was subsequently rebuffed. The crappy thing is, as always this off season snyder will find SOME way to generate interest again next year. New Coach, New High round draft pick QB (who will subsequently flame out), or some 80th season retro uniforms. Its all quite comical to be honest...

Zorn's going to be under a lot of pressure for this one (and deservedly so), but this one's on the players. Too many chances lost on too many individual matchups. No gameplan can overcome that many losses in the one-on-one battles.

If Westbrook stays clear of the punt or Heyer doesn't give up the safety or Davis gets the first down on the almost-fumble or Thomas catches the bomb that hits him in the hands or Hall stays wide enough on the Delhomme bootleg to keep containment and make the tackle less than 8 yards downfield...

I'll keep watching because I just don't know any better, but ugh. It's everything bad I expected from the season, just six weeks early.

this team is hopeless... the offense really only scored 3 points against a terrible team, thanks to the D, they were given 14 points, to even make this game close... again, Orakpo should NOT be playing LB, he doesn't have the speed to cover LB's... it is pathetic that even the announcers, albeit Billick who was a coach, could manage this D better, and as he said, every time Orakpo doesn't line up as DE they are wasting his talent... you can see it, when he lines up at DE, he can get pressure on the QB...

and everyone that is in love with JC, again, he may not have lost this game, but WHAT DID HE DO TO WIN THIS GAME??? Of the 4 sacks, at least 2 could be said to be JC's fault because he holds onto the ball for TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long...

Play of the game, when Thomas misses a rare beautiful pass from JC, and then looks for a flag... is he for real, there was NO chance of PI on that play, he is terrible as well...

oh, and if I were Cooley, I would be pissed, not even ONE pass in his direction, that is completely unacceptable...

That is a very telling stat. Of course, you can't catch passes if you are having to stay in every play to help out with the pass blocking.

And one more nail in the coffin. Boys won it OT 26-20 over the Chefs. They will probably some in pissed next week and roll over us too.

it is on the players, because they are ON the field... but JZ does nothing to get this team ready to play... he is not a HC, not even close to one...

I too agree that it is amusing, i just laugh at some plays now... like the following:

1) terrible decision to review the muffed punt
2) inability to stop Delhomme on the play towards the end
3) the fact that the Skins had 0 TO's down the stretch of the game
4) the inability to stop the Panthers at all on their last drive
5) and when Delhomme punched Rosario in the helmet while celebrating his run, that was funny...

all in all, i don't expect to win these games, which do make the losses easier, but a close loss is still bad, because we were so close...

Yeah. I'd have to go back to the tape to confirm, but it looked like the few times Cooley released on a route, he was drawing double+ coverage. I was hoping we'd see Yoder more on the left with Cooley on the right and getting out a little bit, but don't remember that actually happening.
