ASHBURN, Va. (AP) – The Washington Redskins have signed punter Glenn Pakulak to the 53-man roster for their game against Carolina.
Pakulak was promoted from the practice squad Saturday and will handle the punting and holding duties in place of Hunter Smith on Sunday. Smith pulled a groin muscle in last week's win over Detroit.
The Redskins released veteran defensive end Renaldo Wynn to make room for Pakulak. Wynn had been inactive for all four games this season.
