I would much rather our DB's cover Keyshawn than Galloway- we all know Keyshawn has no speed and cannot break away. The only good games Galloway had was against the Skins! I think I could cover Keyshawn, so we made out in this deal!

Thats fine. Keyshawn is just an overated crybaby, like T.O. He is not big, he does not have blazing speed. He is just mediocre.

By the way a small message for Mr. Owens and Mr. Johnson. I'm begging them to come across the middle. Cause once Arringon puts a hit on them they're gonna wishthey never came to this division.

Do you know anything about Meshawn?

He's not big???

He is what he is....a great possesion reciever and has NO FEAR going across the middle.

Meshawn runs perfects route, is physical and will go over the middle.......Hummm kinda like ummm IRVIN....combined with T Glenn and Antonia Bryant.......along with our 2 TE Witten and Cambell OH and our full backs Richie Anderson and Jamar Martin.........that spells trouble trouble........oh yeah and the RB to be named later....

Cause we still have about 14 million and 5 draft picks.....

Meshawn isn't half the receiver Irvin was. Don't kid yourself Gambit. You guys always beat the 'Skins with speed guys like Ismail and Galloway. Meshawn is a step down. The only thing that could save your passing game is if Bryant learns how to catch.

There are problems with the Cowboys passing game, but it certainly isn't their recievers. Parcells will put Keyshawn to great use, and if you think for one second this trade hurts the Cowboys, you are sorely mistaken.

While neither Keyshawn, Glenn or Bryant are true number 1 recivers, they are all excellent number 2's, and with Parcells in charge they will all maximize their abilities (both Glenn and Keyshawn had their finest years under Parcells). While Galloway did burn the Redskins, he was largley a bust for Dallas on the whole. I know it seems like Cowboy-Redskin games are all that matter, but in reality that is just one eighth of the season.

I will say this about Keyshawn, while he sometimes does have a bad attitude (although I seriously doubt we will see much of it with him under Parcells) and he is too slow single-handedly carry a passing game (he isn't Michael Irvin), he is a great possesion reciever and is hands down the best blocking reciever in the NFL. That says something to me. He is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but he cares enough about football to contribute when the cameras aren't on him and he has no chance of making SportsCenter. That can't be said for a lot of stars (Randy Moss comes to mind).

All in all, reunting Keyshawn will Parcells can only help the Cowboys. I don't think it is going to be the difference that puts them over the hump, but an upgrade nonetheless...

SORRY GUYS BUT THIS IS HOW MESHAWN WILL HELP US

The Cowboy QB's will benefit because they will have a quality possession WR. They won't have to hold the ball as long waiting for WR to be open further down the field.

The Cowboy offensive line won't have to hold back the defensive line for as long.

Jason Witten won't get exclusive attention in the middle of the field.

Bryant and Glenn will get less attention in the long game and will be able to stretch the defense.

With a better short passing game the opponent won't be able to key on the running game during short yardage situations.

As a result of a better short passing game drives will be better sustained as a result of more 1st downs.

Because the offense will be able to spend more time on the field as a result of longer drives the defense will get more rest and be fresher when called upon, paricularly the D-line and especially the DE's.

As a result of being better rested, the DE's will be able to bring more pressure to the opponents's QB.

The Cowboy secondary will get more turnovers.

The offense will get better field position.

Meshawyn hurts the Cowboys. The dumbest trade since the first Galloway deal.

IF Carter is the starting QB, the few strengths Meshawyn has (intermediate routes and slant) are what Carter does worst.

Sometimes the loyalty Parcells shows some players helps a great deal because those players sometimes sign sweetheart deals to play for him again. Other times it burns Parcells because he over-evaluates and hence overpays "his" guys. Witness the terrible pick up of Ryan Young last season.

The Cowboys will be forced to reach either in FA or the draft next year to find some speed on the outside, putting them in the exact same situation that resulted in the original Galloway deal in the first place.

welcome to the cowboy thread on the hogs..net.

parcells will get the best out of keyshawn like gibbs will get the most out of his players as well.

like i said earlier this division is taking shape again and i love it! seems like old times again.
