Man, that was a great video. I thought it was interesting when Zorn said he was going to run in the red zone because the receivers couldn't hang on to the ball.

If every fan saw that, they would have a better understanding of what his thought process is. Also, you can see that JC is rallying the guys and does have some emotion when things don't go right. Zorn also said that he had some plays that were for Santana - and boom. It would have been a TD had there have been any blocking on the play.

How PATHETIC is it that Zorn has to tell JC that he is in charge as he goes onto the field? Anybody think that Brady, Manning, Big Ben, Rivers, and Brees have to be told by their coaches that they are in charge.

LOVE that video! Wow! I am so excited to watch DaSkins play this weekend. We are close, men! We are almost there. We have the plays, we have the players. It is small things. A game of inches. A game of 3 or 4 plays making the difference.

That was great to see. My only comment is that as the HC, he may want to put his foot on these guys necks a little more. It was great to see that Zorn is trying to get the ball to Santana. One held block, touchdown. But Santana, IMO, still needs to be a pro and stop taking plays off, make plays when he does get it and be more active in other areas when he's not thrown too like blocking.

For all of those on here bashing JC, remember what Zorn said in the clip, "you can't catch it for them".......

Likely TD is stretching things a bit. I couldn't tell where the safeties were on that play from the TV shot, but it is a good bet they weren't too far away. So Campbell gets the blame on an underthrow, but no credit on two throws that are dropped? And while your bashing Campbell for the underthrow, how about giving him the credit for seeing the defense and making the audible to that play rather than the running play that Zorn called? Campbell didn't get that many opportunities due to playcalling in the redzone, but on the three throws you mention, he made passes that should have been TD's twice. I'll take 66% any day.

Awesome video, thanks for posting! That explains a lot in terms of what Zorn was thinking throughout the game. Couple things on my mind:

- Love the communication between Zorn and Campbell. Keep him motivated and cool, remind him that he's in charge, and let him try and lead this offense.

- I would, however, like to see him come down harder on the offensive line. I thought he was especially cool with Mike Williams around the 2:02 mark (in the video). "Would have had a touchdown if we blocked that one. That's too bad." I don't recall if it actually was Mike Williams that missed the block, or who, but either way fire that line up!

- I mean we really were a couple plays away from having a much different outlook at this time. I don't think we should be too concerned. All we can hope is that they continue to progress and start to make these plays routine. Zorn's lack of confidence in the wide receivers is a bit concerning, but that's what we have this week to work on (along with the offensive line).

I was at the game and this relieves a lot of the concerns that I had walking out of that stadium. The only thing I still don't understand is why you wouldn't kick the field goal with 2 minutes to go up by 5 and force the Rams to score a TD on your tough defense. I was livid with that call.

The only reason for kicking the FG was to go up by more than a FG

Zorn himself said that that would likely have been a td had the ball not been underthrown. So I'm just going by what Zorn said. My main problem is that in his postgame interview the first thing that JC mentioned was the 2 dropped td passes. Not a word from him about his underthrown ball. A complete lack of accountability from JC, as usual.

I saw that on the NFL net....but it's cool how you have it here now.
I think Zorn is still OK......... meaning I like the guy, so give him a chance. Year 2 will reap nice results.

I really enjoyed watching that, thanks. I'm not sure whether Zorn was always talking to Campbell, or whether he was just thinking out loud a lot of the time. But both he and Campbell came across as a couple of beginners trying to work things out together. I just hope they work it out soon.

Yeah I agree. I thought it was pretty helpful to watch that video and see what was going on when he made some of those calls.

Give me a break. So when Zorn tells Campbell to tell Portis that he just needs ONE yard, I guess that was also pathetic? Because Portis should not have to be told that he needs to gain a yard. I'm sure nobody tells Adrian Peterson he needs to go out and gain a yard. blah blah blah blah.

I wonder why Spagnolo was thanking Zorn after the game?

Was it because we didn't run up the score (ha!)?

Or was it because he gave the Rams a chance to win with a FG by not kicking and going for it??
