Opps! Be careful what you wish for. Last I heard, the Rams had Steve Spagnolo.... He was once with the Gnats! He may have something tricky up his sleeves and he certainly know a thing or two about the Skins.

Can someone say: trap game? (maybe not cuz we haven't beaten anyone)

I think it's near impossible for a team, in the state that the Redskins are in, to fall into a "trap" in this case. We will be ready for them. Revenge comes in week two.

With this team nothing is impossible.

I think we are going to lose. I think that all of our starters are going to get hurt. Our backups are all going to fall sick with swine flue and we are going to result to bringing in players from the UFL to fill in next week.

...man, I wish the season was over.

Well, we lost to the Rams last year, at home no less. If I remember correctly, we were on a pretty good run at that moment.

So, yeah, anything can happen with this team.

Sure, anything could happen. The whole team could get heart attacks this week, and we'd have to forfeit. It could happen.

. . . . .but it won't.

we will win

We will beat the Rams. But it will be too close. We will then all convince ourselves the team can compete with teams that have a real coach and QB.

My previous post is what I think when I read a good majority of the posts on here. I swear that the fans here thinks that the season is over and that there is nothing anyone can do to turn the season around. Because AFTER 1 GAME AGAINST ONE OF THE TOUGHEST TEAMS IN THE NFL we did not play to THEIR LIKING, then the season is over.

Terrible.

Funny you should say that. Just last night I was listening to Monday Night Football pregame on the radio on the way home, and the host asked Mike Ditka what it would take for the Pats to win. He responded they just had to make sure the team bus didn't get lost or something, and it was a done deal. In the end, the Pats won, but it took a stupid decision by Buffalo's kickoff returner for it to happen.

As this team proved last year, when they didn't win a single game by double digits, they have a remarkable talent to play down to the competition. Every game is looking like it might be a white-knuckle affair.

You're right, 15-1 is still attainable, maybe not realistic, but .....

does anyone who saw any part of the Seahawks/Rams game have any doubts about how this game will end? The Seahawks are not a good team by any stretch this year and the Rams are playing out the season to try and get Spags the talent he needs - they are one of the bottom 3 teams in the NFL - Spags is a good coach as long as he is surrounded by incredible talent - he is not going to be able to do anything with this group.

fortunately we will not be taking anyone lightly after what we saw last Sunday

I've got some news for you - last year's Rams team, for some stupid reason, could not get together to play this coming week, despite desparate attempts by their front office to try and get them back to beat the Redskins again - so they are going to be sending in this year's team with their first year coach who is just playing this season out and hoping he can end up with one of the top 3 picks in the draft :D

AND some more enlightening news - in case you missed the game, we are not playing well right now so that "over confident factor" you were aluding to, is not going to work either :D

actually, reading the post again - it just seemed to be lacking anything to go on

The Rams have a chance to win that division too - are you kidding me?

all kidding aside - the Seahawks could win the NFC West but I really don't think they can handle the Cards or the 49ers - I agree about the Rams though - they are terrible :)

SJ, just strictly judging by week 1's performances, SEA will own the NFC West.

I hope Zorn realize that we don't play in the NFC WEST! Any team in that division can make it with a 9-7 record. I don't think he comprehends the Skins will play 6 of the toughest games every year, and you hope you split some of them. The other teams also have strong defenses, and they also throw to their TE's alot.

Stop trying to be cute with the trick plays, and have the offense line up and go toe to toe with people. If Moss couldn't get free, you should alternated him and Randle El in the slot, and use Kelly, Mitchell, or Thomas out wide. Cooley and Davis need o be Gainfully Employed.

Maybe Zorn and staff need to pull out a couple of the old reels, and study some films themselves.

Campbell needs to play like a leader, and the other guys on the defense better stop thinking Albert can do it all of his own. Corners stop being Pretty, and play discipline football. Stop being a Headhunter Landry!

I stayed up until 2:30am here in Iraq to watch, and I think the people to the left and right of me were knocking on the walls because I was cursing up a storm. Pretty sure they won't show them on AFN this week, but let's hope they put a better product on the field Sunday.

Atleast they get the Rams early this year, and they better not look at what they did, or didn't do in Seattle.

Three games to get it right!

HTTR!

Hey, I loved that trick play.. whether he made it or not, I like the fact Danny did it and Zorn let him.

Warpath..Side note- Blessings to you and all our guys/gals out there on the other side man.. thanks for holding us down! Keep representing the Skins while your there for all the haters :D

An L is an L. Yes, the Rams are awful, and the 'skins should walk all over them, but ask yourself this: When is the last time you really saw the 'skins really dominate an opponent? I'm talking about the kind of game that's over by the middle of the 4th quarter, and the coach starts thinking about sending in the 2nd stringers. This team manages to let other teams hang around, and that's not the sign of a good team. The 'skins need to crush the Rams, and they need to do it by halftime. It's the kind of game where they need to set a tone.
