Apparently, Brandon Jacobs did more than rattle LaRon Landry's bones last season when he steamrolled the Washington defensive back, a clip we love to find excuses to watch. Maybe Jacobs did a little brain damage, too.

Seems Landry hasn't learned much about how to tackle the 270-pound Jacobs.

When Landry was asked whether he would change his approach to the Giants' running back this year because of the hit, he immediately shot down the idea.

"I'm going to do the same thing I tried to do the first time," he said. "However it comes up, that's how it come up. I ain't gonna shy away from it. ... don't have a strategy I just go in there and hit. Mentality if you're a hitter or a tackler you got the mindset of just going there [and] doing whatever, make a disruption. ...

"He a powerful back. Probably got to hit him low, but ... I ain't going to shy away from the contact."

Maybe Landry should listen to teammate Carlos Rogers.

"Whatever situation you get in, you just got to take his legs out," he said. "That's where I'll be. I won't be nowhere up top, I'll be down there."

After all, we wouldn't want to see him get 'Laron'd' again. Or would we?

It will be a long while until Laron hears the end of this. SKINS fans unite...let's root for our D to knock the stuffing out of Jacobs.

Don't worry... we have the cure for Brandon Jacobs. Laron won't have to decide where to hit him... just the best way to finish him...

I would prefer he never make to Laron - let's stop him at the line.

Good point.. Laron is the last line of defense, so that would mean that Jacobs made it past 10 other guys. That's no bueno. Get him low and get him early.

And Laron did get jacked up man. We all know if Portis did that to someone we wouldn't let em forget it.

Landry is not a person I would want to tick off. He looks like he could mentally snap and bust some heads together. I do hope he gets revenge one way or another tomorrow whether it be against Jacobs out take it out on one of the WR's.

I wish that had been Sean Taylor instead of LaRon playing FS. Jacobs would still be feeling that hit. But for all the talk about that hit, everyone overlooks the fact that LaRon made the tackle. When all was said and done, Jacobs went down.

Fletch is absolutely The Man. That Russki boxer Drago could've been describing him instead of Rocky when he said, "he is like a piece of iron." Gotta love that little hardass.

And if there's any justice in this or any other world, this year he'll finally get his long-overdue ticket to Honolulu dangit...
