Is there any reason why we would not give this guy a chance to play for us? - I hear that he still wants to play and the team's that might be a good fit are the Redskins and the Chargers :?

It's a little late now. They should have brought him in and let him compete during TC. I just think they are trying to get younger, and his age made him unpalatable.

he has had experience with similar terminology, and still would be a big help here with our line

you don't think he could help for a year, maybe 2?

Maybe, but it's not going to happen unless we have a rash of injuries.

I don't know who Jon Runyon is but I know there's a tackle named Jon Runyan looking for work.

 thanks Jake.

I just think the guy would cost about 2 mill per year and provide some quality depth - the guy does have some playing time with the WCO, so he would not need much of an adjustment with the terminology

I think a contract that would pay him around 2 mill per yr plus a small incentive bonus for games played would give us a decent tackle for a year or 2

I think that he's worth getting before you realize you really should have looked at what he could have cost before the injury situation comes along - on this team or another

I just think it's crazy that Jon Runyan is not on a team... that's just nuts.

Runyan is a big, dumb hick. That said, he would be great on this team.

Better... he's a big, dumb, hick with a nasty attitude... which is something this O-line could use a little more of.
