Why did we cut this guy? He played well, his conditioning wasn't great but he's 322 pounds 24 yrs old and got to the QB, I would've let Renaldo go for this kids potential, Griffin has been blocked some lately.

It sucks it was the Smeagols, but I'm glad he caught on somewhere.

Since Dixon is now an Eagle, this thread belongs in Around the League.
I think the Skins liked Dixon but the group at DT was just a bit crowded. He's a nice story, so I wish him the best.

We screwed up on this one fellas, you don't let big guys with skill like that go, Griffin is old as dirt and Monty is good but Golston doesn't have the upside that Dixon has., the Eagles knew it and pounced. How much does having him help their D, ALOT, we really screwed up on this one

We'll see how much he plays.

I don't know, man. Which DT would you have cut to keep Dixon? Not only do we have Haynesworth, Griffin, Montgomery, Golston and Alexander, but Phillip Daniels will also slide inside to the DT spot when Orakpo or Jarmon jumps in at DE. We are extremely deep on the d-line and I'm not sure it's wise to keep a 6th DT on the 53-man roster in hopes that he'll develop down the road.
