Mason Makes it

Looks like Mason made the final 53.
Mason Will Be on 53-Man Roster
Apparently, the third time around was good enough for running back Marcus Mason.
After a strong preseason performance in 2008 and again this preseason (as well as an '07 appearance and membership on the practice squad), Mason, who attended Georgetown Prep, has made the opening 53-man roster, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation. Mason didn't make the team last season, in large part, because of his deficiencies in pass protection. I didn't see much improvement this preseason, but I guess the Redskins did.

My prediction: We'll get serious yardage from this guy this year-- this was a great move. For one thing, it will extrend Portis' effectiveness; for another, he'll beat out Betts or otherwise replace him before the season is over.

howdy my fellow skins fans. New member here with my first posting. I am SO glad to see Mason get his shot. The change of pace should make the entire running game better. Defenses will have to rethink how to deal with our running attack

Without proper blocking, no one and neither could either one of them. This isn't NCAA.

What use is getting to the edge if all you're going to do is fumble when you get hit?

Fumble... Did somebody say Betts haha fumbling machine!
We should have kept one of the two between Dorsey and Alridge in place of Rock.
Mason making the cut will pay off, glad we can play him this year.

From my coach they all looked the same. Running style wise, Aldridge looked half a step faster but all 3 were about neck and neck in production so it didn't matter who made it.
