My cat of 16 years died in my arms tonight. He was a good boy, more like a dog than a cat. Would sit next to me by the couch for hours.
It was short and painless so thank God for that, but sudden just the same.
I'll miss him more than I realized.
Aspen is the white one - I did this pastel for my wife about 12 years ago.

Having lost my entire pack of dogs over the past 6 years, I have a good sense of your grief. My thoughts are with you, NC.

I'm sorry to hear that Scott. That's a really good run for a cat. Hopefully your week gets better. If you need anything, shoot me a PM.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know that pets can and many times are like small children in families. I know when my wife had to give up her cat when we moved, she was very upset about it, and her cat was just going to her aunt.
Beautiful pastel btw, NC, and I'm sure it's now more cherished than ever.

My condolences to you sir. I know losing a pet can be tough especially when you've had one for the length of time you had yours.

Pets stop being pets when they become part of the family. They share unforgettable moments with us. Sorry.
